The island of Galvana was once a beautiful place. Hybrids and humans lived in harmony and animals could roam freely. No hurt or pain was there, only love and kindness.
Until a hybrid rebelled.

Since that day, hybrids are classified as dangerous. The island lives in worry. Very few alive hybrids remain, the ones who fought with the animals and humans against the tyrannic rule. The scars of the short reign will live on this island forever, thousands died on either side. You are the children of such hybrids, raised by humans to believe that hybrids are not equals, but lower than humans. Hybrid mothers die after childbirth.

Now, you have left school after years of torment due to being different. In your final history class, your teacher slips you to the side and shows you a sign on his wrist.
The sign of hybrids.
"I agreed with your side, but they offered more riches than I could imagine.." he sighed, "But good luck outside of here. All hybrids are rumoured to have a celestial companion.. someone who would help them for the good of the world."

You shrug and leave. That sign is forbidden.. it can open gateways to where the old leader was trapped. the thought crosses your mind, but questioning things like that is deadly.

Travelling back home, you pack your items and decide to set off on a journey.

Things to do:
-Find your celestial zodiac & guardians
-Raise 1-3 celestial companions
-Prove to humans you are not a monster
-Unlock your celestial power

Starting villages:

The village of animals. This is where hybrids originally came from, even if they don't live there now.

Starting equipment:

-Refillable water bottle
-3 days worth of stew

Juliko
The village of healers. People used to flock here from all around, the most experienced leader could raise loved ones from the dead.

Starting equipment:

-Refillable water bottle
-3 days worth of berries/ fruit

A map of the area:

(Your characters will not know this map except for which biomes it's hometown borders.)

1) No power playing. If I say you get hurt, you can't then dodge it. (or making up your own story. I decide what you find)

4) Include a fruit that your character likes in the sign up form
5) You can die. Be warned. Whoever said this was going to be easy?

7) Say if you have any ideas for any of this.
8) No mary sues. Please. I beg you.
9) Don't be a fire phoenix then be a water element.

All pickable elements have advantages and disadvantages. You are strong against one light, one dark element and weak against one dark, one light. Just because you have a disadvantage to it, doesn't mean you can't work together or defeat one, it just means it's harder. (Hint: Read up on it. It's not as simple as one may presume.)

Elements:

Dark hybrids try to come out at night, but they can last in the day. Being dark does not necesarily make you a bad character. Some famous hybrids who help others are dark elements.

Shadows: These hybrids turn themselves and whatever they're touching into shadows, being able to manipulate the shadows into different shapes. Illusions work, but sometimes they can flicker on an untrained hybrid (can only scare something smaller than a dog). The shadows they twist can heal wounds.
Noble Phantasm: Shadow heal. It will heal any wound, making it disappear.

Ice: They can turn water into ice and control it. If you touch an ice element, they will feel colder than an average person. Their shields are practically unbreakable. They can stop bleeding.
Noble Phantasm: Ice star. Bullets of unavoidable ice plummet on top of the opponent, also creating a wall to block you from a secondary one.

Poison:These hybrids take a while to kill someone, but it's painful and slow, usually rendering them unable to attack you anyway. Skillful healers can curse off these spells. Learning this element can give someone the power to dissolve someone if they view them as a real enemy.
Noble Phantasm: Acid blow. You turn the ground into acid where you want it to become acid. Unavoidable.

Metal: You can edit metals, being able to sense and identify them. Saving allies from dangerous ones may come in use. In severe situations, your skin may painfully turn to metal scales to protect you.
Noble Phantasm: Iodine Heart. Your whole body turns to metal to defend you and your weapon becomes the strongest/ sharpest blade in existence.

Wind: They can use the wind to travel quickly and communicate with others. Destruction is a clear sign of them being near. It can create shields that blow back attacks.
Noble Phantasm: Tornado. Sends a tornado at the opponent. Can not dodge.

Light hybrids aren't necessarily good, so don't be fooled by their sweet appearance.

Fire: These violent light elements like stiring up trouble, even though they're usually kind hearted. Controlling their element is tough work not to set everything on fire.
Noble Phantasm: Inferno blaze. They get a massive ball of fire and can throw it anywhere they want. Everything around will be destroyed.

Water: Splashing water touched by light-water hybrids heals any wound, due to the fact the water is purified. Allies of them could find a defensive water shield or able to walk on water, even able to breathe underwater.
Noble Phantasm: Flood water. They wash everything near them with this attack, the water they're controlling is invisible. Only the people the user views as allies are healed of all wounds.

Wood: Able to merge with a tree is no joke. They can communicate and spy anywhere if there's wood. Telling your direction with them is easy, too.
Noble Phantasm: Branch Swipe. The trees will bend to their will. Being hit with multiple branches is a painful torture and distraction to escape.

Earth: Summoning plants to grow in front of your opponent or to protect yourself, you can go as far as creating cracks in the ground.
Noble Phantasm: Ravine pull. The ground will bend completely to your will and create a large mountain or a deep ravine.

Lightning: Summoning a full grown storm can be hard work, but these hybrids just manage it. Just touching one could send electric shocks through your body.
Noble Phantasm: King of electricity. Their body becomes so electric powered you can not go near them without being killed. They then focus all that energy to one place, killing everything there and leaving a large, cindered hole.

(Other - Can not pick these except stars and illusions. Can be either dark or light.)

Shape shifter: They can talk and change to whatever form/ animal they wish and are real tricksters.

Time: Can change your sense of time and make areas go back or forward in time by millions of years.

Memories:
They take your memories and trap you in them, or make them real.

Magic Stealer: Using your magic, or one they've seen before, they can match it in strength and power.

Summoner: As long as it exists, it can be summoned.

State Changer: They can turn liquids to gas or solids, or the other way around.

Stars: They use the power of the stars' dust to create barriers and impenetrable shields. They can also use stardust to teleport.
Noble Phantasm: Meteor Strike. A large meteor crashes where the caster is aiming.

Illusions: They create images around you to change the scenery or add an animal, although these are not real they add for good distractions.
Noble Phantasm: Giants War. Ability to great an illusion of a giant using any type of magic, actually dealing damage.

Updates!

2/9/17

Should I add a Weapon/ Armour changer element? ping me your opinion!

Extended map! There are now 15 different places (on average) where you can explore and (maybe) find Guardians. A few are very picky and hard to find.

3/9/17

All listed elements have disadvantages and advantages to them. Read books in Veslon to find them out!
-Fire
-Water
-Wood
_Earth
-lightning
-Illusions
-Shadow
-Ice
-Poison
-Metal
-Wind
-Stars

You now need to find a relic as well as lvl 6-8 magic (depends on their element) to be able to control them!

All Guardians have quests for you now.

We have out first lvl 1 magic user! Heads up to Emberfall777 -salutes-
