Phoenix gathered up sword in the clearing, staring at ash. He sized up the neko. Taking the first move, he raced forward, leaping high up in the air like an anime character and raising his sword.

Ash, being the knock off black butler character we created him to be, dodges to the side, laughing. "Come one hot shot! Is that all you got?"

He hadn't come out of the air yet and just kinda levitated there, phoenix wings flapping (I guess they both have wings?), swiping his sword down. He sent a whip of blazing light fire towards Ash.

Ash's large dragon wings helped him rocket into the air as he did that cool move where he flips upside down and slams his leg down, trying to seriously drop kick him out of the sky

Phoenix took the blow and sheathed his sword, skidding backwards on the ground. His hands had become fire practically and he started twisting them around in weird voodoo motions, sending millions of shards of fire towards Ash at the speed of light owo

Being the lovable idiot we know him to be, Ash took ten minutes to finish painting his nails, so he got hit. Burns covered his body as smoke rose from his skin, his eyes like fire. "Really dude? You messed up my nails!"
