Okay, i know this question has already been asked, but my question is a little bit different. How often does a sylestie drop an essence? do certain breeds drop them more commonly? I have been straight up battling a bunch of low level sylesities and have gotten jack squat. does it matter what level you fight the sylestie at? Im really curious, i know what to do with them, and how to get them. Thanks!

I don't know what the exact odds are- I don't think anyone does. It's random, its rare, but it does happen. I've had it happen quite a few times; I just got one this morning. I think all species drop evenly, but some species are more popular than others which is why you see certain ones in the trade broker so much more than others.
I don't think level has anything to do with it, more just sheer volume of battling. (I might be wrong though.) Just keep at it! and if there's a certain species you're after, save your gold and keep an eye on the trade broker.
