Setting: You are at home, being lonely.

Rules:
1. Don't swear
2. Don't kill each other without permission.
3. No imntimacy beyond kissing, we have young people here, and I also think it's disgusting and unnecessary.
4. DON'T GO MORE THAN 3 PAGES WITHOUT FENGARII OR SHAYNI NEXT TIME THIS HAPPENS THERE WILL BE LESS PEOPLE HERE.
5. If I sound harsh, I probably didn't get enough sleep. Sorry about that.

Jackson stretched, getting to his feet as he yawned. He was in his cave in the forest- it was where he lived. Making his way outside, he held his hand up to his face as the sunlight blinded him.

I wake up, yawn and stretch, then go through my short tunnel to the pantry. I grab some bread, eat it, then climb up my ladder out of my burrow and face the day. I squint up at the leafy canopy, and the sun is about an hour or so past sunrise position, casting slanted emerald green rays all through the forest, making it look like a fairyland. My ears twitch, and I hear a butterfly fluttering behind me. I turn around, and watch the sapphire and green butterfly flit away. I walk in a direction that I haven't wandered before, and eventually come across a hill with a small cave opening. I see a guy with ears and a tail stretching in the opening.

Blue stared at the floor of her burrow for a few minutes. "So bored..." She mumbled. She walked to the other side of her burrow to an assortment of hand made baskets filled with fruits and vegetables. Blue grabbed a handful of blueberries she had picked the day before and began eating them.

He froze mid-stretch as he spotted a girl watching him. She had long, dark hair, and fox ears poked out of the long locks.

I smile a little frightenedly, I haven't seen any people for years. My tail droops a little, and I flatten my ears a touch.
"Who are you?" I ask.

He stepped back. "Who are you?" He countered, his tail swinging back and forth.

"I am Maya. I live around here. When did you get here? I would've found you by now if it were more than a week ago." I say, my ears flattening a touch more.

Blue came out of her burrow. She looked up one of the trees. "Oh I do wish I could climb up it. What fun it would probably be!" She said quietly.

He watched her carefully. Why should I tell her anything? He was surprised when the words flew out of his mouth seconds later though. "I moved from the other side oft he forest a few days ago. The humans are cutting down parts of the forest. I ran. I'm Jackson, by the way." He didn't bother giving his hand to shake, but he had given his name because she had.
