So, I was having trouble, asked for help, and got an answer. I have to get better equipment, but I simply have no clue how to get epic+ without buying it from town hall, which will take a long time due to lack of many ways to get money. Anyone know what to do?

For me, the best ways I find good armor is by defeating dungeons and participating in the seasonal festivals. If you dont have a dungeon and since the festival is over, search the trade broker to buy armor. (Sometimes it gets expensive, and pay attention to what level is needed to wear it!)
Those are my top ways of getting armor, but Im sure there are lots of others out there!

The majority of my gear I got from mission satchels. Missions also give you a decent amount of money.
I've had terrible luck with dungeons, but I've picked up a couple of pieces there as well.

Doing Missions is a good way to obtain decent equipment- they'll also give you exp, healing items, excess equipment that can be sold to the site, and gold (along with a rare chance for regular or enhanced essences)
Doing level 20/Hard missions in Esior's Haven should be enough to get Epic equips (although to be honest, I mostly just do the Very Hard missions, so I've completely forgotten the exact levels and amounts all the other levels give)
(Also use the money to buy more Mission Slots from the Plaza, so you can do more missions at once. The Mission rosters at Esior and Saerielle rotate at the start of every hour, and as long as it randomizes the ones you haven't already set pets onto you can take them up TO that mission slot limit (max 6))

I sent you full sets of Epic Armor that should fit your Pets
Note ~ The accessories will not fit for about 1-2 levels, so just level up your pets a bit.
If you have any other questions, feel free to message me!
