hi there! I just joined a few days ago, and I find the game very confusing. I just need general help getting around the site and figuring things out? Like how do you get currency for the festival thing? and what's a good way to get gold? what are diamonds? and also, how do you get pets other than catching them?

Curancie for festival :

The festival zone is the place that give the most token but it is actualy close as the festival is over. The other activity are open mostly for people that have stuff left for it.

Getting gold :
The mission are the best way to get gold but you may not hava acces to the best yet, keep exploring to unlock them.

Diamond :
This is a curencie that is buy with real mony but you may get able to trade rare pets or gold for it in the futur

Pets :

You can craft some during festivals and you can buy offspring from other player. And of cource you can breed your pets to make new one.

How can I buy things to catch sylesti? Also, how do I create new sylesti?

You can buy snare traps with gold that can catch wild Sylesti in the 'capital city' of each area, like Esior's Haven. You will be able to purchase snare traps that can catch different types of Sylesti depending on your type of snare trap. The traps all have a chance of failing, except for the Masterful Snare Trap (you can get these from the diamond shop or trading with other players). As for the new Sylesti, you can generate new ones from the generator with an essence. There are three types of essences that you can get from the diamond shop, and when you are battling there's a rare chance that you will get an essence of that species. So far from battling you can get the regular and the enhanced essence of that species. Again, you can also get essences from trading with other players.

how an I remove equipment from a pet? I want to change into better equipment but I can't figure out how to take current stuff off

Go to Inventory (under Account) and hit "Switch to Equipment". From there, you can change the pet at the bottom to the one you're trying to remove gear from. Select the piece of gear (shown beneath the pet) that you want to remove, and click on a space in the Equipment inventory. Putting armor on is the opposite; select a gear item you want to put on and click on the corresponding slot under the pet.
