How do you beat the first set of trolls in enigmatic grotto? The whole reason why I have made it throught the shrine is because of my third party slot. But then the trolls knock one of my pets unconscious, and I'm left with 2. Which, the trolls easily defeat. I can't easily level up because the other areas don't have strong enough foes to gain a good amount of exp. I don't know where I might be able to get better equipment, so I'm basically stuck. So, if anyone who got past this battle is reading this, can you tell me how you did it? Thanks.

You can use the healing elixirs, which are the triangular potions, and the only ones that can be used in battle other than the revival draughts. Those are pretty helpful, but I believe they can't be CoDed, so you have to get them yourself.

No, but when I entered the battle, I went to my inventory and it said I can't use it. Maybe it's just me being dumb, I don't know.

In your inventory? Have you tried hitting 'p' and using the potion menu there while battling?
