Okay so after Jyinxie gets captured, I head to the Nightfall bandit camp and complete all the quests. Then the Thyrne ( or however you pronounce his name. One guy that's your Ally) he dies.

Runner up leader says it's your fault and they won't be helping anymore because I ignored orders to come and get them after I found out the bandits hiding spot, so they rushed to save me and their leader got killed.

I was wondering is this a normal progression through this quest? I checked my quest log right a while before I completed the quest and it was still incomplete till I defeated the bandit leaders pets. Or did I do something wrong?

Sorry for missing spelling and saying things wrong. I have been away from the game for a little and have just gotten back.
