The object of this game is to carve a real life jack-o'-lantern, you may use a pumpkin or any other vegetable or fruit if you do not have access to a pumpkin. If you do not have the means to carve a real life jack-o'-lantern then you may do one digitally on the drawing of the pumpkin below.
Click the image for a larger version.
Rules
1. If carving a real life jack-o'-lantern you must provide at least three pictures of the carving process with your username written on a piece of paper somewhere in the photo. This is so I know that you legitimately carved your jack-o'-lantern and didn't steal an image from google.
Just so there isn't any confusion...here is an example of what it's suppose to look like. These are examples from previous year's contest. :)
2. After carving your pumpkin come back to this thread and post your images, you may do both the traditional and digital carving. Please just keep everything in one post.
3. If you've never carved a pumpkin before here is a helpful site that goes through the process: http://www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org/makeajackolantern.php
4. The due date for this is at the conclusion of the 2017 Fall Festival.
Prizes
The traditional and digital entries will be judged separately. You may enter both a traditional and digital entry as well, just please keep all your entries in one post! There will be a participation prize for everyone that participates and 1-3rd for both digital and traditional entries. :)

We have six pumpkins waiting for the 30th to be carved. One for each member of the family, which we grew ourselves. I might do the drawing one, but I'm not wasting a real one. There's still 11 days til Halloween and it will start to rot if I carve one now.

Digital Design
So I have yet to get a pumpkin, but it will happen! But for now while I had the time and was quite free, I did my digital one early.
This year I decided toe depict my version of one of the new creatures! Totally stoked about their arrival and the arrival of the MZ! I added a background ad a little shading to help the colors stand out hope that's okay ^.^
And here is my real Pumpkin.... At first it was going to be a cat... then it turned into Majora's Mask.... so I just rolled down the river with it.
Also this is a little pumpkin.. so little I couldn't fit a tea light in it so I used flashlights! Also found the skin was harder to carve. Enjoy!

My mom wont let me have a real pumpkin, so, yeah!
Its basically at night with a moon and an aurleon with mystic rings flying toward it, and a zolnixi in cute witch garb with a lupora with the dragon mutations

We have a five year old, a 3 year old and a 9 month old in the house. Mostly, we use markers so we don't have sharp things around the five year old. JJ tends to figure out where neat things like that are stored, then try his hand at carving things...like furniture, or walls...or other such things. He's five, he's going to explore the drawers and such in the kitchen if he can sneak in there, or draw on the walls regardless, but we don't really need him taking chunks out...so when he asks how we get things small enough for his mouth we say...MAGIC. And try to make sure he forgets we have knives until he's older.
