Your team needs some poking- Once you get the third slot (you can't get it until Saerielle, so don't worry about it yet), the general setup is a Tank pet (typically shadow, water, or earth, goes in the lead slot) with stats in HP/Agi, a Magic pet (Light/Shadow/Fire elements, stats depend on what you use it for), and a Strength pet (Water/Air/Earth, and again, stats depend on what the role you give the pet)

Your current team is
Tyler Dun
Level 20
Element Fire
Proficiency 1/1. Int
Equipment
Relic: Lv0 Uncommon, Phys
Armor: Lv0 Uncommon
Accessory: Lv0 Uncommon
Accessory: N/A

and

Light
Level 19
Element Light
Proficiency 0/1. N/A
Equipment
Relic: N/A
Armor: N/A
Accessory: N/A
Accessory: N/A

Basically, you have no Tank, and even if you're using Light as a Healer to cover that, she has nothing to aid herself with.
You need to assign her proficiency point, and you absolutely need to get them both a full set of gear. Gear that matches their levels as best possible if nothing else (Gear goes by every five levels, 0-5-10-etc., and Rarity > Level, when it comes to gear. Lv50 legendary gear is just that bit better than epic lv60 gear, for example)
Tyler Dun needs a Relic that has Magic damage instead of Physical (Light does too, but she doesn't even have a wrong-boosting one right now.)

I suggest taking a read of this player guide, particuarly posts 3-7

If you need more equipment, I suggest doing some missions- if your sylesti does either satisfactorily or excellently you get either one or two (depending on which) mission satchels. Mission Satchels can have equipment in them, up to the level and rarity of the mission the pet was sent on.
