I have gotten 2 friend requests so far
is there a sort of friends list that I just have not been able to find or what?
Im a little stuck on how to find these people

yes, they should be in your inbox at the contact section (if you have accepted their request). If you ask them as friends you can also found them in who's online and chat with them via the personal chat. ^-^

The Sylestia friend system is currently a little weird - you have to friend people back in order to see them on your friends list (the Who's Online button on the bottom right of the screen).

You'll probably be able to see them once they've accepted. It might take a while, though.

Because I'm not sure I'm understanding your question, I'm stating the friend system as best I can at the moment.
If you send a friend request to someone and they accept, you are now on their friend list, but they are not on yours, unless you have accepted their friend request previously.
If they send a friend request to you and you accept, they are on your friend list but you aren't necessarily on theirs unless you've sent a friend request to them and they've accepted.
Hopefully my mid-homework ramblings made sense.
