Is the AP value on my profile the total amount earned, or current amount saved? It says 5813 right now. And if that is not the total I've earned since forever, how do I find that value?

Are you seeing the AP amount in one of the boxes underneath the avatar on your left?

The AP points or Advencement Points are a kind of curncie that is use mostly for two things :
- avatar customisation ( NOT in the item category)
- adding designez slot to your generator.
The amount in your bow is the amont you have right now. It will decreace if you buy somthing with it. You can't buy or trade AP points tho so you will have to do mission and fight to get more.

I need to know the total amount I've ever earned for the stablehand. It says I don't meet the requirement, but I do not know how to find out how much I've earned, total.

If you haven't spent any AP, that should be the amount you've gained in total. I believe the Stablehand requires 10000 AP gained to unlock, so you're on your way there.

I have spent AP before to purchase Wardrobe avatar items. I'd say maybe 1k for eyebrow, 1.5k for hair, and 2.5k for gloves, for a total of about 5k AP spent. So I should meet the 10k requirement already.

because I just answered a question that involved it a few hours ago (because I always forget it- maybe answering two faqs with it will help us remember), adding to what Cian said, another use is buying extra party preset slots.
If you're after the stablehand and think you've passed the 10k total, just give it a shot and if it doesn't let you then you can probably just go farm some opponents to boost it?

If you've only spent 5k AP then you need 5K more

I spent 5k AP and currently have 5814 AP for a total of 10,814 earned, but I can't use the stablehand because it says I don't meet the requirement.
