So I was wondering what happens if you don't feed your pets for a while because you're not on?
I know my playing habits for games like this and know that after a while I'll get bored of level grinding for a while though I will sooner or later come back and play again. When I stop playing I'll be too distracting by whatever else I'm doing to remember to feed them. I don't want to get to absorbed if not feeding pets for a long time will have a seriously negative effect. I don't like when a game punishes me for not playing year round, I have ADHD and whle I can focus on something fun for a time I get tired and want to play a different kind of game ie if I get bored with an rpg I might switch to a platformer. This game is fun but I will eventually tire of it and I'd hate to lose progress or be set back just because I took an extended break. and at best the feed can only last a week for a handful of pets or 3 days for a stable full. I can't guarantee I'll be consistent about feeding if I'm not actively playing

If their hunger bar runs out, they'll be "starving." They won't die or run away, so no worries about it causing any damage. But starving means that they can't complete any kind of actions, like breeding, battling, or completing missions. So if you do take long breaks (it'll normally take a week or two for them to be starving) you'll just have to feed anyone you want to use right away manually.

well that's no problem for me I was hoping it would be something like that but the npc professor made it sound more expensive and risky during the beginning guide and I wanted to know what to expect
thanks for answering my question and alleviating my worries
