Hi, how long does it take for an eggling to turn into a hatchling, hatchling to adolescent, adolescent to adult?
Also is the time the same for all pets or do different pets have different growing times?
Thanks,
Laetina

Egglings reach hatching age at 72 maturity hours (aka, when the yellow bar at the top of their genetics reaches 72/72). If they were found wild, they're likely already at least part-way along in that time, and if they were bred they start at 0/72.
For every five successful nurtures, they get a bonus +1 to their maturity (which can cut off huge chunks of time if you're persistent with asking people to nurture- we've managed to cut off around 17 hours with some of ours)
Hatchlings reach Adolescence at 216 maturity hours (nine days of age, from a 0-hour eggling, six from hatching). Nurtures do not accelerate their maturity counter, but pageviews do (I assume it's +1 maturity hour for every five views, but that's a guess)
Adolescents reach Adulthood at 648 maturity hours (27 days from a 0-hour Eggling/ 24 days from a newly hatched baby/ eighteen days from a Hatchling reaching adolescence.) Adolescents can have their aging accelerated via Magical Pie, which add 144 maturity hours to the pet (equivalent of six days) per pie. It takes 72 hours (3 days) before the pet can have another one used on them (meaning you can use a max of 2 pies on a pet)
216 - 648 = Adolescent
> Accelerated via Magical Pies
648+ = Adult

Thank you for the breakdown on maturity hours. I had a follow up question: Should you leave adolescents in your hatchery until they are adults? Is there a benefit for that, or does it not matter if you transfer them to your stables?

It doesn't matter. It mostly just gives you time to clear stable space if you need it and stuff. (We usually leave them there until they hit adulthood, personally)

It's an item, that you can be use on pet in the hatchery to aye them quickly.
You should make you own tread sorry for the late reply. I never used one yet...And read the description of the magic pie when you get one it will help

Pies add a number of maturity hours (144) to adolescents, to help them become adults faster.
...Christine is right, though; this is kinda unrelated to this thread, so it shouldn't really be posted here.

Starter pets (and all Generated pets) start as Adolescents, with 216 maturity Hours upon creation (aka, they get created at the very start of the adolescence stage, rather than being hatchlings or adults)
They do not age any faster or slower than other pets
