You're a new country. You need to eventually rise up to be at the top of the world. If you are too weak, you could fade away into nothingness. Be careful. While you are struggling to climb the ladder of power, World War II breaks out. Will you side with the Axis Powers, or the Allies? Or will you stay Neutral? Your choice.
Hetalia is an anime where the countries have physical human form. They are immortal, unless their country is destroyed. They each have their own distinct personalities. (France is flirtatious, America is the hero, Japan is quiet, Etc.) You also have the option to play as one of these characters as well.
Rules:
Gay/Lesbian ships are allowed. (GerIta, Spamano, Italy x OC, etc.)
No Gary Stus or Mary Sues
No Godmodding or Powerplay
Keep it PG-13
One character only (unless given permission)
No OOC (Out-of-Character) canonized-characters

Guidelines for OCs:
Pretty much the guidelines that the Canon Hetalia characters follow:
Small magic is allowed
If you form a new country with another country, that means you're married
You can get hurt
You can get drunk
Countries, Territories, Empires, etc can travel over long distances in short time (Example, they're walking down a sidewalk, it's the Roman Road).
You are immortal
Using another country's human name means you're in a relationship with them, or you need to get their attention.

Germany stood over the table, looking at the map of the world. Japan stood beside him, pointing to Nanking, China on the map.
"This is where I will attack first." he said, quietly.
"Wunderbar. I will attack Poland. He seems to busy playing with his ponies to realize that he is under attack." Germany said.
"Germany~!!!" Italy said in a sing-song voice. He flounced over to the tall blonde nation, a piece of pizza in his hand.
"What is it, Italy?" Germany asked shortly.
Italy took a bite of his pizza. "We have a new ally!"
"Who is it?" Germany asked.
Italy pointed to you.

If you side with the Allies:
"Alright, dudes! Who's ready to kick some Axis butt?" America asked, standing in front of the blackboard. "Now, remember, I'm the hero, so you have to do everything I say!"
"I'm not going to follow orders from you like some lackey, you bloody ******!" England said angrily.
"I agree with England. I will not take orders from you, America." Russia said, a dark shadow crossing over his face.
"Ai yah! Just stop arguing already, aru." China said, leaning back in his chair. "You all act like such kids!"
"Not everyone can be 4000 years like you, China." France said, playing with a strand of blonde hair.
"If everyone was 4000 like me, world would be better place!" China said.
"I would have conquered world by then, da?" Russia said, smiling.
Canada ran into the room, panting.
"Sorry I'm late..." he said quietly.
"America? How did you get over there?" England asked, frowning.
"That's not America, eyebrows! That is Canada!" France said.
"Oh. Sorry about that, Canada." England said quickly.
"It's alright... I'd like to introduce our newest ally..." He said quietly.
He beckoned you to come into the room.

If you are Neutral (I have to admit that this is the most boring path to choose from):
Switzerland gazed out over the lake, a cup of tea in his hand. Beside him was Liechtenstein, who was looking at him, her eyes sad.
"Big Brother, when will the war be over?" she asked softly.
"The war will end when someone realizes that fighting is unnecessary and they will have to do what they knew would happen before they even started fighting." Switzerland said.
"What is that? What did they know?" Liechtenstein asked.
"That they would eventually have to sit down and talk it out." Switzerland said. "We will hold out until the war ends. We will not fight. Isn't that right?" he said, turning to look at you.
If you are Nordic (Which is pretty fun, but mostly a neutral path):
Sweden and Denmark sat at the table, in the middle of an arm wrestle. Sweden was much taller and far more intimidating, but the Dane wouldn't let him win that easily.
"You can't beat me, little brother!" Denmark said, his arm shaking slightly.
"Sure." Sweden said, monotonously.
Norway and Iceland sat on the couch, staring at the two.
"This is boring..." Iceland said.
"True, but there's nothing else going on." Norway said flatly.
Finland ran in the room. "Guys! I found someone that we haven't seen in awhile!" he said breathlessly.
Sweden looked up and Denmark forced the blonde's hand down onto the table.
"Yeah! I win!" Denmark yelled in triumph.
"Who 's 't?" Sweden asked.
"Come in! Come in!" Finland said, pulling your hand.
(Also, please note that you'd either have to be Greenland, the Aland Islands, or the Faroe Islands, (which are canonical Hetalia Characters with no established personality) or a made up country/island/territory/etc.)

Personality
When she firsts meets people, she tends to be shy and quiet and hides behind Russia most of the time. She trusts him the most to look after her. She trusts people too easily and is very attracted to people who are funny and maybe even flirty - as long as they approach her first. She doesn't like those who are too touchy or act like she isn't capable of things or very young.
Taithlon likes animals and when it comes to heat, she fails miserably. Anything over 10 degrees feels like a heat wave to her. She is able to run freely in the snow as the average temperature, even for summer, is under 3 degrees where she lives. She doesn't get to see nature a lot and the colour black hurts her eyes.
She isn't very religious - her country is under communist regime, although they are very small with around 10,000 people. Most of them follow rules similar to catholics when it comes to marriage or are atheist, most people don't recognize her if she wanders around. Taithlon grows a very special type of fruit which are purple, they are sickly sweet and almost take like sap from trees. She doesn't believe the Axis powers are bad and can be uncomfortable fighting them.
She will do anything to protect Russia and likes making others laugh. She is deathly afraid of Baba Yaga and her stories, meaning she gets nervous around chickens because they remind her of her hut. Taithlon believes Baba Yaga will come and eat her alive if she upsets Russia.
When fighting, she will never talk or refuse to. She usually moves when the enemy moves, if they stay still and seemed to be surrendering, she waits for them to finish surrendering before hiding her own weapon, or if they run she chases, if they attack she attacks back. She is a bit like a mirror fighter most of the time. If she thinks Japan or Russia are in severe danger, she is fight recklessly and not wait for polite curtesy. She dislikes using her guns, but knows she needs them if she can't get close enough. She wants to learn how to play chess.
Taithlon has a hatred of when Russia goes out and gets drunk - she hates seeing him in a drunk state or drinking. it is one of the few times she gets angry - not at Russia, but at the person allowing him to drink. She will just quietly glare at them and give off a dangerous aura.
She also has a very playful side to her that you don't see unless her twin is around, she usually doesn't show it. She is also competitive with her twin. When shes playful, she'll act like a teenager at a club practically and isn't scared of anything.
Image/Description
Girl with pastel pink hair thats straight down to her shoulders and has ringlettes at the front/ bottom and lighter pink eyes. First is this winter outfit in the picture.
Second is a two piece battle outfit. It is black and cyan. The cyan has a camouflage print. The top part is a tank top, stopping before her belly button, with a sleeveless jacket that goes down to her skirt, and on the right arm is a black leather arm guard that goes from her armpit to her wrist, with several silver buckles to keep it on tight. She then has on the left/ other hand a fingerless glove and a bracelet above it. On her left shoulder she has a metal armour plate.
For the bottom half, she is wearing a short skirt also in cyan camouflage with a black belt going across her waist and a knife sheath attached to it. She then has long cyan boots with buckles and laces. On her head she wears a cyan headband, similar to what snow white wears but two sticking out parts rather than a bow. In her hands are a pair of bagh nakh (claws essentially) she also has a submachine gun hanging behind her, connected to a strap that goes from her shoulder to her waist (don't have to draw if you don't want to)
For the third outfit, she has a whitish grey scarf wrapped around her neck and a short strapless pink dress with silver decorations on it and a fur rim at the top. It is longer at the black and more puffy than at the front. She wears a pink crystal necklace and pink crystals around her arm with long gloves. The scarf falls down to her hip level. She wears light pink ballerina shoes with it. She also has some silver decorations under her eye.
For an idea of dress shape, a bit like this just the shape/ outline, the actual decor on it is as described and the back is much more curved/ circular
Weapon
She keeps a pair of Bagh naka's concealed under her palm and can use a pair of shotguns as well if she needs to get closer.
Allegiance
Allies - although shes scared of England and hates America, finding him too loud and annoying. She won't ever forgive him for what he did it Japan, plus she believes he is the one destroying Russia's reputation and that he deserves death.

Velos - Red panda male
Magic
Can't see magic, but can telepathically communicate with the triplets. Believes in Russian folklore.

Her real name is Leto Beriya. I made up a country if that's alright and some things in it. She is very short at 4"6. She is capable of doing gymnastics and is reasonably flexible. She is a trapeze artist with her sister.

(Dragon, your Kirkland dreams can come true in RPG land. Maybe you should be Scotland, since Kirkland is Scottish for Church land..)
Taithlon peeked around the corner, nervously, Velos on her shoulder. She was appreciative of Canda's introduction and silently dipped her head, looking at the floor quietly. She'd been listening in and hoped the loud one, America was it? Didn't come and bother her badly, or try to kill her. She looked up as she saw Russia and quickly slipped over to hide behind him, where she thought it was safe, and watch the meeting from there.

Personality:
Quiet, reserved, doesn't really talk much nor interact with others. As an ancient civilization under the ocean, she doesn't know much about the modern world either, but she is eager to learn more. All she ever wants is to know more and gain more knowledge about the rapidly changing world around her, as to her, everything has gone by on a flash ever since she sank under the ocean.
She has a good heart and holds onto her belief that everyone has at least a smidge of goodness in their hearts, no matter how evil they may seem. When faced with someone, or even another country, that seems to be bad, she will try to communicate with them to bring out their good side, to try to stop them from doing bad things. She always tries to communicate first before resorting to fighting and violence if necessary.
Not much remains of Atlantis, just a couple of functional buildings and a bunch of broken down ruins of majestic structures that had seen better times. The people live underwater and manage pretty well with what they can.
She's a fierce fighter, as well, because she has to be. Anyone that comes near to discovering the city under the oceans will be chased off, using minor bits of mystic magic to create an illusion of nothing on the sea floor while there is actually Atlantis. She specialises in completely underwater fighting or just simply fighting standing partially in water (e.g. a pond, a river, etc)
Being a city under the waves in the cool recesses of the oceans, Atlantis does not fare well in dry places nor hot places. She can hold out for a while, but the longer she stays in said places, the weaker she becomes. She likes to stay in or near water all of the time.

But she can still fight with any type of old weapon (sword, spear, bow and arrow)

Yin and Yang Two mystical fish that float around in the air beside her. Can't stay out of water for more than an hour, so Atlantis carries a small fishbowl with her wherever she goes.

Knows a bit of mystic magic. Atlantis as in Atlantis from the myths, so :) Also, as a mythical city, she has an affinity with mythical animals like fairies, unicorns and such.
