Hello everyone! We will be holding design contests for the 2018 Fall Festival (Coming in October)! Please make sure to read the rules carefully!


Rules

1. Design an Avatar Outfit for the Fall Festival. Please use the following bases to draw your avatar items on.

Male Avatar Base

Female Avatar Base

The following can be included all in one entry for avatars:

1 Avatar Outfit
1 Avatar Wings
1 Avatar Back Item
1 Avatar Held Item
1 Avatar Head Item

2. You must draw the items on the avatar base. In case your drawing skills aren't great then along with your drawing you can include a description to better help us envision your avatar items. If you are unable to draw something, then I am sorry, there will be no exceptions.

3. Avatar Items submitted must be Fall Themed. So anything to do with the fall season, this includes any holidays that fall in the fall season, fall weather etc.

4. Please do not reserve posts. If you reserve a post I will delete your post.

5. Please do not Ping me with your submission. Please only Ping me if you have a question.

6. Before submitting your entry please make sure to scan the thread to see if someone else has done something similar. Try to make your entry unique and if someone has already done something that you were wanting to do...then I highly suggest you pick something different. If you feel someone has "copied" your design, do not say anything to that person - especially in this thread.

7. You may only submit ONE official entry. If you wish to submit more then you can send me a PM with drawings of your avatar item ideas. However all PMed entries that are sent to me will not count for prizes.

8. The end date is September 26th at 11:59 PM server, after that the thread will be locked.

Note

I am very aware that it's typical to use google to search for ideas when designing things. However, it is extremely important that if someone happens to be referencing another person's artwork, it should not be possible to google it and find exactly what was used as reference. Please make sure to change it enough and be creative enough that you're making it your own design. This is extremely important not just for ethical reasons but also for legal reasons when we're implementing something onto our site. Thank you! =)

Prizes

All entries that are picked will have their avatar items created and be given one free copy of the submitted items. Everyone that participates will also receive a participation prize.

Don't comment on someone's entry unless you have something nice to say. If someone copies your entry then have faith in us that we will determine the correct winner. Please do not fight over entries, if I see anyone doing this in the thread then whoever is fighting will be disqualified.

Wow, Summer fest isn't even over yet. Fortunately, I have my fall avi set mostly done already!

Ryori Tamer set:


The Spring fest had an Aeri tamer set, so I was inspired to make a set for the Fall-exclusive, and one of my favorite, species: the Ryori!

This color set was based on the Phantasmal Essence Ryori theme, just because I like the greens.

Another color idea, based on the Grim Rose theme:



Outfit:
Ryori tamer's outfit--I only have the female, although I have a male in mind I just need to draw. It's a classic dress with a jeweled belt (inspired by the glimmering jewels mutation) and long gloves that have little Ryori wisps at the wrists. The boots are made to look like Ryori clawed paws.

Held:
Ryori pet: It's floating down to the ground, maybe from jumping off the shoulder. The item in the hand is an orb like the ones around the neck.

Head:
Ryori Headdress maybe? Made to look like Ryori ears and jewels, with dangling earrings attached in two places.

Back:
Ryori cape--There's a misty cape back there. It could just be part of the outfit, though.

Male outfit: Here's my male design (it's less detailed, but it's enough, I hope.) A simple pants and shirt, with the gloves and boots, and jewelry hanging from pockets in the pants. He also has an alternate held I quickly designed.

The coloring is inspired by the Spring Rebirth theme (a personal favorite of mine).

I have yet to see Sylestia explore the stars, so lets get started! At halloween tell me you don't see aliens, space heros and all those things, Jetpacks, Bubble space helmets, rayguns, Metalic outfits.. i had a hard choice between Alien side pets or Robots... also Totally going with war of the worlds/bmovie style background XD

Armor of the Ghost Knight
The origins of this suit of armor are shrouded in mystery and horror, but the archaeologists who dug them up sure were eager to get every single set off their hands. They all have been exorcised at least 20 times for your wearing convenience*- now with REAL ectoplasm!

Head: witch's hat. a shorter witch's hat with an orange stripe around the bottom of the triangle where it connects to the head and a turquoise mask to cover the wearer's face
outfit: a simple black robe with triangular cuts along the bottom and sleeves, dress length for girls, tunic length for males with striped tights and black boots underneath
held: candy bowl on grownd, piece of candy in hand
back: a front door with lighted "hogwarts" lamp

so, I drew that picture before I decided to change the male one, and I didn't want to try to draw the rest of it again, so I just redrew the outfit part.

ooo i'm so hyped for the fall fest! so i was going though the wardrobe and i thought the demon hunters could all have a friend in the form of... the Vampire Hunter!

so it would be the Vampire Hunter Gear (outfit) Vampire Hunter's Syth (back item) Vampire Hunter eye patch (head) and Vampire Hunter's silver sword/throwing axe (held item)
the colors were just examples. i was really nervous about this design cause when i searched vampire hunter to get a better idea (all i had was a long coat and a hat) it turns out most if not all vampire hunter designs are coat+hat so i went with a eye patch+coat and a axe and sword as well as the syth (mostly cause i would toootally want a syth back item)
the tattoos are suppose to be like magical wards against undead and stuff and the outfit has daggers on the side/hip area. i did the girl version first and thought belly button looked cute so i kept it for the guy version too.
since google threw the same design basicly for anything vampire hunter i thought giving them a syth and eye patch would make them a bit more unique ^_^

This is my fall themed avatar outfit I designed! In time for Halloween I decided to make this Enchanted Sorcerer/ Sorceress Outfit! It is made up of...

The Male Avatar would look pretty much the same except the outfit would look more masculine. I was thinking maybe having the purple material of the dress being some kind of shirt, then the light grey being pants and the black part being some kind of coat or shawl covering the purple shirt. Then the brown colour of the corset on the Female avatar could be a belt on the male avatar. Anyways... I hope you like my design!

Edit - I used a base with facial features to help me make the face item work better - I can easily replace it, if that is required to be eligible! (Please do tell me if I need to change it ;w; )
