What is the task log for and why can I buy more slots?

@Spooks,
Task Log is for managing Tasks, a new feature only available in the 3rd region currently.
Tasks are an upgraded version of Daily Quests, which is a feature in the 2nd region.
Eventually, Tasks will be added to the first and second regions when they are revamped.
You visit a town/city and go to the Task Board where you can accept tasks, such as gather 10 apples. Then you go the appropriate zone and complete the task and use the Task Log to turn in the task.
That's probably rather confusing - so basically, it's a feature you'll get to use once you reach the third region.

lol Thank you that makes sense Almost there just got to get this last Aryth's Spire finished. Not bad for 9 days lol
