So The first RP I was ever in was something similar to this and it was so good! even if it was just me and one other player, so as my 3 year contribute I wanted to do something similar!
The Year is 3026, humans have by passed their limits on technology expanding it to the brink, civilization is more advanced than anyone a millennia ago could have even imagined. However not all advancements were a success the genetic advancements in medicines for humans thrived and did well, but many groups deciding to test on animals and push the limits of nature itself started to arise from the movement. Though these acts were considered illegal and frowned upon many organizations still took part in testing new technology and genetics on animals, and though that is almost unheard of now the animals are still affected, and the remains of these illegal studies are scattered about the old forgotten streets where these abandoned test subjects can be found......

You can play as many characters as you think you can handle! you can also have human NPC's or characters if you would like, no real limits on this. Try not to be too OP on your animal characters though you can still do as you please with anything they may have, but do try to add flaws.
Rules
NO Humans Characters can have genetic alterations that are extremely abnormal, different eye color is fine but sadly no nekos.... sorry
A human character is not necessary, and neither is an animal character, but you can have both or 7 it does not really mater, just be sure you can handle it.
no more than two modification per animal
only animals that have been genetically modified to speak to humans can
comment on the map wither you like it or not in your signup under other to show you read these
be patient with everyone response, we all have busy lives so don't get discouraged if its moving slow
be kind to one another
romance is alowed but keep it PG

Katana is very protective, and a bit on the blunt side, but she has a good heart and is kinder than she seems at first glance. She is a dreamer and tends to operate on instinct more than logic.
Backstory:
She was a test subject of one of the first underground facilities built and one of the last ones to get closed down, Alpha Apex. the mark of the organization as well as other designs are visible in bright blue on the fur a testament to the trials she endured after a year of study. She has been out on the streets for all of 3 days, and is starving and tiered. she use to work for law enforcement before she was found out and was cast into the streets

As a stray on the streets when he was younger he was taken in by the scientist who used him to try and make a elixir,pretty much one to bring dead things back to life perfectly fine.Not like frankenstein.They lived him for a long time as they tested on squirrels and stuff.He had it pretty good.As he got older he got arthritis and all the other things that come with being a older dog.Then he died.(Yep)The scientist used the elixir they'd been working on for years to the ryan's bring him back.And it worked!Just he wasn't the same.When the facility got shut down and the scientist arrested he ran off.

Genetic mutations: camophlage and prophecy (seeing the future). Doing the latter exausts him. Sometimes he gives prophecys, too. He has to write them, though. Yeah, he can write.
Personality: kind, sneaky, very stealthy
Backstory: was created to be the perfect spy and, Naturally, he escaped. Now, hes a creature running wild.
Likes: shadows

Freinds he doesnt have
Dislikes: loud noises
Metal on Metal (the sound is annoying)
Prophecys
Skills: camophalge is spot on, and hes super stealthy without.
Flaws: prophecys are often bad.
Other: the map is cool! Maybe Strike can live in the bottom right corner? Just asking.
Also, Strike can hunt super well. Doesnt kill for sport, though. Hes also slightly mad. As in insane.

Appearance: Flux is a fox and has completely black fur with white eyes (no pupils or irises) and shadowy wisps coming off of her fur. She has moderately long claws and teeth, and usually terrifies the local kids. Flux has very bushy chest hair, which seems to be made of shadows, and also has a very bushy tail.
Genetic mutations:
Can speak all languages
Can control the shadows (i.e move through shadows, move them, hide in them, etc.)
Personality:
Flux does not like to interact with people, mainly because she has been betrayed by all of the people who used to care for her. When she does bond with someone though, she is extremely loyal and friendly to them. Flux has a very negative outlook, and is usually sleepy.
Backstory:
Flux was experimented on by a relatively small company, and in the process lost all of the memories of her previous life. She loved her caretakers and was very loyal to them, until the tried to sell her off for a profit. She now does not trust anyone easily.
