Hello,

I'm new here and I want to make my starter a mate and look for an essence at the moment. But I wondered:

The regular essence has only 2 traits, but I would need 4 traits to create my OC (three tails and wings)
I remember reading something about an Item that gives 2 extra traits, but I might remember it wrong...

Is there an Item I could use to get 4 traits out of an regular essence, which only gives 2 traits normally?

Second I was wondering how I get these essences.
I read about getting them by nurturing eggs or fighting them. I somehow got an Regular Luffox Essence, but I can't remember when I got it and how...
I would love to find an Zolnixi Essence, but I don't really know how to 'farm' for one...

Regular essences always give 2 rrait points.

You need (i think its a myrhical?) Essence to get 4 trairs points.



You can essences through nuturing or buying them off trade broker.


But ild advise checking adbanced search pets and check for sellers/potwtial buys. Sometimes its way cheaper.....esseces cost a lot. And you dont have a draeyl (which has cheap essenves)

Okay, then I need any other essence than the regular one. (the other two both give 4 traits)

I looked at the broker already, but there are close to none for sale and because I have problems at the Faerina's Shrine I spend all my money on reviving and healing my Pets, so I can't buy anything at the moment (My pets are LV 29 and still die a lot in there, even though the enemies are just Level 25)

What are advanced Searchpets and what is a draey?

Avanced search pets are pets you find using the Advanced Search. And A Draey usually spelled drae is short for Draeyl which is the dinosaur sylesti which looks like:

There is a type of item that can add TP to a pet- Mutators-, but they can only be used on Tamed pets (not of Generated pets, Offspring, or Exclusive) (guide here, scroll down to Mutators section)

Draeyl is one of the six starter species


If you're at Faerina's Shrine, you should have 3 party slots (third slot unlockable at Sanctuary of Saerielle.)
Additionally, don't use the healers, because frankly they charge too much. Just wait around out of battle (I can't remember if you need to take pets off the party to heal over time in the first two regions?)
If you get pets to send on missions (see this guide) you can get gold, equipment to use/sell, and healing items from the mission satchels (and a very rare chance of a random regular or enhanced essence)

I can't remember any Pop-Ups, but I guess I must have found the Luffox Essence via battling or nurturing, so I'll just keep doing these and look for trades for the ones I have and don't need.:)

Essences obtained via battling don't give a popup- they just show up in the battle log-, so if you have a luffox essence you don't know the origin of, that's the most likely answer.

Yeah, then I guess it was from a battle. I think I did about 350 battles in the last 24 hours. So I stopped reading the logs at some point ^^
But I nurtured 500 times as well, so I was unsure. But now I know. Thank you :)

Essences via nurturing do give a popup, which you would have to dismiss-
