well pretty soon they'll be re-introduced based on your 'hallowed points' for the halloween event, one coin per 100 points, and then you can go to the holiday shop and get fun things (like ny'vene tails :) ) for your avatar, so far thats all I know.

Where do I buy the coins in the trade broker? I got 19 rite now and I wasn't to buy I more in the broker. It said the coins were tradable.
