im asking bc the pets are obviously not public for a reason, but im doing a 6vis theme project and the breeding pool for black ice zolnixis is rather small (42 total, 12 females)

its especially unhelpful when i have specific traits im going for, and i cant afford a genderswap philter to breed with the available males
i can only afford a max of 1,500g per egg since id most likely need to breed a few times for all the traits to pass down

im wondering if its worth it to ask around or if i should try to work with the available pets

it's not rude to ask around as long as you dont ask for free. You could offer a final offspring/ disount, witch is usualy a good trade off in exchange for the help you will receave, this way you wont nead to pay right away and will have more gold for the project. ^-^

ps : there is a female black ice for sale at 1000g in the advenced search, even if she don't have the right trait she could be usable as simple 'parent' since you seem to nead more females at the moment

It's definitely not rude to ask, as long as you're not rude in the asking ^.^ However, be prepared for some people to refuse, as there are often reasons that people are not breeding their pets (resale value, want to be able to disrupt them when new traits are released, just generally don't breed their pets ever, etc). But yeah, there's no harm in asking ^.^
