They're all hidden. So green must be hidden, right? But what the heck does the NI and ND and whatnot mean??
Also My other Draeyl has (CC) Lucky Runes as a gene that is visible, but then I have a Lupora with (DG) Flaming Hellhound Skull and (EF) Dragon Wings and those are also visible!
I'm sorry I'm a heckin noob. XD

Green are Carried traits. They are not visible on a pet, but each has a 50/50 chance of passing on to any offspring.
They cannot be seen in a pet's genetics unless they have been genetically tested (unless they were a pet created via the generator)
Blue are Visible traits that can be seen on a pet. If the pet has been genetically tested and the trait is still blue, it definitely doesn't have a hidden- the pet will 100% pass down the genetics of this trait to its offspring (whether the trait will be carried, hidden, or visible depends on the other parent's genetics)
Purple are Hidden traits- basically, the genetics of a second, unseen trait that is located in the same trait slot as a more dominant trait.
Like carried traits, they cannot be seen in the genetics unless the pet has been genetically tested (pets made via the generator cannot have hidden traits) so a pet that is untested but has visible traits may have hidden traits, but will have those traits show up as plain blue/visible.
There's a 50/50 chance that a pet will pass down one or the other of the genes.
The Letters are the letter code.
N is nothing, an empty slot.
So your draeyl has NN in G1 and M1- these trait slots are empty, they have no genetics- it is a 100% chance of passing down an N in that slot to any offspring.
A letter in a slot tells what that trait is, and will tell you at a glance how 'dominant' that trait is- Trait dominance for each slot starts with N (nothing) and then proceeds A>B>C>D>etc. down the alphabet.
More dominant traits are always the visible trait.
(So with your draeyl's M2, 'A' is the letter code for back spikes)
The lupora has Hidden traits- the genetics of the more dominant trait are the visible trait, and the second letter is the more recessive trait.
So M3 'DG' is "visible trait 'D' Flaming Hellhound Skull, hidden trait 'G' rainbow mechanical helm", for example (you can go look at the generator- the letter will tell you what trait the hidden is)
If, for example, you crossed two lupora that had M3 (DG), the offspring could have M3 (DD), (DG), or (GG), at a ratio of 25/50/25.

we have a section in one of our guides (albeit the guide we still need to finish and tidy up, but that section is complete) on the matter here
