I'm sure Krinadon has reasons for it, but I've been curious about this ever since I joined. I have many captured pets I plan to use Genetic Mutators on, and for some of them I'd love to use two or three, but the tooltip says a pet can only be affected by a Genetic Mutator once.
Has there ever been an official reason stated for why this limit exists? I don't wanna question Krin's decisions, I'm just curious about it. In the Sylestia's Upcoming Development thread, it lists "Advanced Pet Customization" as one future development. Has Krin mentioned any plans to lift the one-time-only restriction in the future? I wanna know so I can plan my Genetic Mutator usage accordingly, LOL.

I'm not sure the official reason, but I sincerely doubt they'd ever raise the limit. If you could add all six traits to a pet, it would severely devalue breeding projects, legendary and mythical trapped pets, etc.
