Hi!
Why can't a party of 3 pets (lvl25 or +) beat a lvl25 monster?
Thanks in advance! :)

Generally it's a matter of pet/party setup if someone is having an issue like that.
What pets are you using and what party order (slot1/2/3)?

Oh you're probably right, I haven't done any research about party set up, since the battling system didn't seem very complicated at first, but I probably should.
I use these pets (in this order):

Hmm...

light is a healer.
Wind is usually an offensive
Dark...um sorry no xp for this usr with that.

ALlocate the point for your wind pet. You need those points.

Use legendary or epic armor. (Go on missions to get elixers and gold and armor)

And maybe get a tank in that first slot.

well, as was mentioned, the Shadow Pet should be in party slot 1. I don't have a proper handle on using shadow pets as tanks, but any Tank wants their equips focused towards Agi- for a Shadow tank, they want Illusionist (int/agi) equips. Agi is important to Tank pets, as it helps them dodge and raises their defences ('mitigation').
Tanks tend to be proffed with any of HP, str/int, or Agi, it really depends on the element and the person using it.

Light pets are more generally used as the Healer, in slot 2 or 3, though you can equip them to focus on Agi or Dex. My own lv70 Light Healers are statted prof-wise 3int/2dex and equipped with both Int/dex (evoker) and int/agi (illusionist) gear.
Agi on a Light Healer lets them move before the opponent to get off their heals, while dex raises the chance that they'll get a critical hit on the opponent, which will increase the amount they heal the team for.

Air should be fully equipped with Myrmidon (str/dex)- They're a pure attacker element.

Also as was mentioned by Orca, you want to try aiming to get epic/legendary equipment (if you do missions, higher level ones' mission satchel rewards are a pretty good source of these), and try to keep the levels of the equips within 10 levels of the pets.

Thank you so much!
I'll try to do all of that.
I'm currently training a new Tank because my shadow pet really couldn't handle being a tank. Is earth a better element for tanks?

It depends on style of the player- some people would swear by them, others just don't know what to do with them, and it's like that for all potential Tank elements (Earth, Water, Shadow, Light)

We ourself use an Earth tank on our main team, have been training up a Water tank's attack ranks, and have been putting off ranking the Shadow because their attack setup is way different from the Earth I'm used to and it throws us off.

Some people, counter to that, can't work out an Earth tank at all.

basically: it's all down to personal preference and style. Sometimes it requires poking around and trying out different Proficiency setups (though that's more for lv60+, when you have at least three prof points to use)

You'd have to ask people who use a shadow tank as their main for an idea of how to really use one, and with Tanks, unlike light healers and attacker pets, the prof setup can vary far more wildly. (lots of people go HP first and max it 3/3, for instance, while on our Earth we only added our 1 HP point once Vanguard hit lv70, and the other two don't even have any HP points (though I might go with one on our Shadow when we get back to her))
