Hi everyone! :)
I had an Enhanced Lupora Essence in my inventory for a while and I just found out today how to use it xD ^^' So I decided to create my first project pet. I used the 4 points to give her 4 carried traits. Here she is:
Her name is Mahkah, it means "Earth" in a native american language. That project is gonna be called "Lost Forest's Guardians" and I am pretty proud of it! ^^
Here is what I want the final result to be:
Since I am fairly new to this game (I've only been here for about 2 months) any tips or advices, either about the project pets or the game in general would be greatly appreciated. :) Also, you are welcomed to share your first project pets or your dream\future project pets, I would really enjoy seeing them! ^^

id get a few more Lup essence, regulars are super cheap :D, make 2 males with 2 carried traits each (both diffrent), and 2 females with 2 carried traits each (both diffrent) and maybe a few more with a vis trait. then keep breeding them till you get the final product! you will have to do a bit of inbreeding, but if your looking to make it a PB project you have to get way more essence!
Make sure to do names that keep track of traits, or you can write notes, ex-
if your pet has 1 gene vis in slot one and 2 mutations carried in slot 2 and 3 name it, LFG for lost forest gaurdins, then G(for genes) 1v23 (for the gene number slots), then put 'M12c3c
so= LFG G1v23'M12c3c
Some people like ways like that i like to just do somthing like this there are alot of guides on doing projects, check those out they help alot :D
You will also need a bit of space in your stables, it may take alot of pets to finish a project lol

Thanks a lot for the advices! I will note the genes and mutations in a notepad with the pet's name to keep track of them! ^^

During the project there is alwais a time where you have to releass the older generations with less traits to let in some new blood, here is a few tips :
You will nead more females then males, keep that in mind when in a few generations, be more selective on the amount of traits for the males then females.
Give different codes for the differents lineages, it will be perticuliarly usefull when it will be time to weed out the offsprings with less tp

Thanks! I didn't think of the fact that I'll need more females than male and that I'll have to be more selective with the males traits but it all makes perfect sense! Taking notes of this ^^
Now it brings me to a question... So, when 2 pets do not have the same mother and father, they don't show up as siblings, so can they mate? If not, after which generation can they mate? Cause I know someone who has breed one one my male purple petunias with a female that had my pet's mother has it's grand-mother (so his niece), is that the closest two pets can be to breed? And it must be cocidered inbreeding, right?

siblings and half-sibligns can't breed togedher and parents cant breed with their own offsprings but evrything else is fine. ^-^
Inbreeding does not affect the pets and there is no way to avoid it in a project like yours, it's just a number for those who are interressed.
