Once a pet is an adolescent/adult, stats cannot be increased.

Max stats require a lot of time and many generations of pets. Typically each pet is given a prisma (+200 health, +10 in other stats) and a lot of nurture clicks. Then each generation grows up and is bred, and the offspring are prisma'd again, etc. until you reach max stats.

There are a number of people who sell max stats, generally starting from 100k-300k.

Do you think you could go into a little more detail? I'm looking into breeding for stats and I want to be smart about it. How can I figure out what an egg's stats will be like based on the parents stats? What exactly do nurture clicks do for the young sylesti? Do you have any other advice? Thanks in advance!

Genetically testing an egg reveals its stats. An offspring's stats can be anywhere inside the range of its parents' stats. For example, if one parent has 40 dexterity and the other parent has 100 dexterity, the offspring could have 75 or 40 or 99 or anywhere in between. This is the same for every stat. If you don't have the unlimited test kit, there are lots of people in this forum that can test for free.

Correctly nurturing an egg just helps it hatch faster: 5 clicks = +1 hour of maturity. Correctly nurturing a hatchling increases its stats: 5 clicks = +1 in int, str, dex, OR agi (the lowest stat increases first), or... +10 to health? (don't quote me on that, I don't remember the number, but it is a bigger increase than the other stats)

Stat breeding goes fastest when you use prismas. There are also philters that only boost one stat at a time, but it makes things a loooooot slower, and there isn't a separate philter for health. Prismas are your best bet, if you can get your hands on them. If you have a pretty design for your project, people may be willing to donate prismas in exchange for a free offspring when the project is done.

I'm currently working on my first stat project. One of my friends (Xavion) is a major stat breeder, and she gave me some advice that I'll now pass on to you. :)

-Be sure to get the eggs tested, and only prisma the best results. Look at the parent with the higher stats, and see how much the offspring's stats dropped. Xav told me that the ideal pet will drop no more than 50 health and no more than 5 in other stats. However, that can be very hard to get sometimes, so just use your discretion.

-Similarly, do NOT prisma the pets whose stats dropped a lot from the higher-stat parent. Egg testing used to be impossible, and stat breeders had no idea to know stats beforehand. But now we can. If a pet ends up with really low stats, it's not worth the prisma. Save it for a pet with better stats.

Here's a guide to stat breeding, if it would help you to see it laid out another way. I personally found the pictures a bit confusing, but they might be helpful for you.

Thanks so much! I hate to bother you, but I have just one more question: I've noticed that pets base stats are listed as one number plus another (e.g. 46+14 to make for 60 in that stat at level 0) and that that second number is more often than not equal to zero. What do these numbers mean and how will they affect breeding for stats?

The numbers after the + sign are called "wild stats". They come from pets caught in The Lost Grove. Not sure where you are in the storyline, but TLG is the most recent zone.

Normal max stats have existed since before TLG. They do not have wild stats. Their base stats are 2000 health and 100 in in the rest.

Pets caught in TLG have base stats normal for their species, but wild stats based on their rarity. Snowfield here is legendary, so his stats are +30-40 or so. Wild stats vary slightly, as you can see by this other legendary pet. Higher rarity means higher wild stats, so mythical > legendary > epic and so on. (Common has +0.) Themed pets have even higher wild stats than normal pets. For example, here's a legendary themed with wild stats around +60.

Those pets can then be bred with max stats to eventually get superstats. Superstats have base 2000 or 100 like max stats, but also wild stats that boost their base above max. Technically anything above 0, including +1, is super, but the higher the wild stats the better.

As Orca mentioned below, the wild stats do decrease slightly every generation. Somewhere Xav and others were discussing how it worked, but I can't find that post now. So breeding for superstats is a challenge to get max base in the fewest generations possible, so the wild stats stay high.

Meanwhile I wil locntinue Son's thing (plz correct me if Im worng, im a bad breeder unfortunately for my draes)

WIld stats are found in tlg. Their offspring also get extra stats but their stats will be lower. (There's some calculation thing to do that).

So now there are superstat pets that have extremely high stats.

Yay.

(That was confusing, wasn't it?)
