1. Your second party pet doesn't have an element/proficiency assigned.
2. neither pet has all equip slots filled, only relic and armor.
3. your second pet is only lv11

You can leave the zone where the quest is to grind against enemies in an earlier area, or send the lower level pet on missions (once it's got equips and element and prof assigned) to get exp


(Earth is a good element, but it isn't the strongest when it's alone and unsupported by other pets, especially when under lv30)

First, the equipment Neula has doesnt all match the element shes attuned to. So you have two options. You can either change the element (Its possible to do that, but it costs gold. Being that shes at Level 21, it might be a lot, perhaps too much for the user level youre currently at.) to a magic-based one (All the elements you can attune your pets to fall into two main categories- ones that do physical damage (Earth, Air, and Water), and ones that do magical damage (Fire, Light, and Shadow/Darkness)), or replace some of her equipment (mainly her shield/relic) with stuff that matches the element shes currently attuned to.

Second and finally, as Scathreoite said, your other exploration/battling pet has a proficiency point that hasnt been applied yet. You need to do that before you use him again.

Beyond that, there isnt much else you need to do. So try what I described above, and see if it helps at all.
