How exactly do people go about paying you gold for artwork? I'm interested in opening an art shop because I don't have any drawing classes this semester (so I'm bored and looking for things to draw constantly) and I keep getting ganged up on by the mushroom guys in the Shrine, but I don't really know how they work aside from what's in the art guide and I was hoping for a bit of extra help with figuring this stuff out...

I was also wondering how I should price things, since I have no idea about pricing reasonably here (and I don't want to devalue my own work or the work of others by charging pennies, you know? i don't want to charge WAY too much either). I was thinking like 8-10k for the binary drawings, 10-12k for the lines & flats, and then 25-40k for the digital paintings since they take from an hour and a half to three hours depending on complexity
and i guess complexity would change the prices? haha.. im so new at taking commissions.....

Here are examples of my work:
* lines & flat colors: x, x, x, x
* digital paintings: x, x, x
* binary tool drawings: x

thanks in advance for any help you can provide! uwu

Art is generally payed for by the artist (you) sending the buyer a junk item you don't need and setting the CoD fee as the agreed upon price. It's honestly that easy. Some artists take half payment before, ect, but there isn't really any sort of rule about it.

As for pricing, I could see myself paying 10-12k for line with flat color! I don't generally buy anything higher than that because I like flat color more than super detailed digital. However some of the prices currently asking in the art forum seem to be around what you were thinking.
Sorry I couldn't be more help on that front!

Also when/if you do open a shop, you can count on me coming to buy from you. :3
