I recently got 2 pets that can regenerate their colors. Is this only a one time thing or can I do it endlessly? I didn't see a thread for it so I'm a bit lost

They just don't have the specific parts that can be recolored (like yours saying C2, AC and AC2). They say all colors. Is that still a one time thing? Sorry if I sound stupid I'm still just a bit confused

You are not stupid everyone gets confused on this. Yes those are one time changes but you might be able to change them again with dyes though I not recommend it. My pet is one of my few examples with colors so that is why I put him as an example. He's not the best example but it works.

you can read the Guide to Regeneration here if there's anything else you need you know, it should cover it
