hey guys, so i saw all the new summer themed pet and i dont understand how to acquire them or their genes? somebody said something bout a catalyst? i dont now what that is either. also, i looked an in the generator you can make pets with essence! how do you get essence?

Under the explore tab, you can go to the "Seasonal Festival" and click on it. If you go to the fest zone, which is called "Esiors Cove," You can fight bosses and find chests! By doing all of that, you have chances of finding mystery sculpting catalysts, clams (which contain pearls to give the pet more genes) among other things that will help you sculpt that pet.

If you open the mystery sculpting catalysts, you get a random catalyst. You buy the box and put in the sand (5000g). You can add pearls for more traits, blue/pink coatings to specify the gender, sirens tears increase the base stats of the pet ect.

As for the essence - to my knowledge you can get it from the diamond shop and the trade broker. Other users will probably be able to explain this better haha!

If you need any extra gear I have some, and I do have 4 catalysts if you'd like any! (Bulbori, Luffox, and Vulnyx are what I have atm!)

Mundane pearls give 1v
gold makes a 2v
prismatic makes a 3v

You cannot stack pearls, there can only be one pearl on a sculpture at a time, and higher pearls can overwrite lower but not vice-versa
(So if you put a mundane on a sculpture, it would become a 1vis pet. You cannot put another mundane on it to make it a 2v pet.
You CAN put a gold pearl on to make it 2v, or a prisma to make it 3v.

ON the traits themselves:
Sea pebbles let you pick what trait slot(s) you want for the vis trait(s) (not the exact trait, just the slot)

Enriched Sand makes it so a vis trait will have a hidden underneath (it does not make it so the pet has a carry in another slot)

Some examples, in the form of some ligs- all of them had:
> gold pearl
> trait slots G3 and M2 locked with sea pebbles
1 (1 enriched sand used)
2 (no enriched sand)
3 (2 enriched sand)

how do i get sand?

Sand for sand sculptin, you just click on a sculpting box and buy sculpting sand it for 5000g (you can also buy 1-use boxes in addition to the two infinite sand boxes for 100dia/200k gold/300 tokens, sand unfortunately not included- you still need to pay 5k for the scupting sand for the 1-use box)

enriched sand and all other sculpting items used on sculpts to specify things (coatings, siren's tears, sea pebbles) can be obtained the same way as catalysts
(pink/ blue coating let you choose the pet gender rather than it being random, siren's tears let you boost the pet's stats up to four times)


items to be used to help progress sculptures towards completion are obtained as "Sand Sculpting Agent", which is opened from the inventory to get Block of Sand, Vial of Seawater, and Essence of Sun (in order, they fix "deformed", "cracked", and "soaked")
As the other items, sand sculpting agents are obtained the same ways
