(Is there a section/post for this? I'm sorry if there is, please redirect me there)

I'm unsure what the meanings between Common, Uncommon, and Rare are.

I captured a common, and it reads "none" under their genetics. I captured an Uncommon Zolnixi, and it shows that they have banded stripes in gene one. I've ran into rares, and some of them 'appear' to have nothing 'special' about them, no visible gene/mutation changes. I don't remember if I captured rares before.

Is rarity based on their genes/mutations and how many they have?

And what determines their *s? For example, battling a Common Vulnyx with 3* and a Common Aurleon with 2* both the same level. Do those *s base on how much health they start with? Or how many points they can hit with?

Sorry if the questions have been asked or don't make any since. I'm very tired, and am not thinking straight right now lol.

As far as I understand, the Uncommons and Rares have carried or visible genes and mutations. The commons have none.

The stars tell you how hard it is to beat them. So it they're easy, it would be 1 star, harder-2 stars, and so on. I think that there's a post for this somewhere, I just don't remember where.

Oh, okay, thank you. So do the stars carry over (lets say I'm capturing 1 out of 2 of the exact same sylesti(not likely just saying) it wouldn't matter if I picked the one that had fewer stars)?

I have found commons to /sometimes/ carry one gene. Uncommon seem to span from one hidden, two hidden, or one visible. Rares seem to span from two hidden, to one visible. So it seems kind of to be on an overlapping spectrum.

The stars seem only to indicate how difficult the pet is the defeat and seem to have nothing to do with the pet once captured. These, however, are just the things I have found, and may or may not be true as an average.

There's this thread here explaining the difference in rarity vs stars. But for the most part, Commons will generally have zero genes/mutations (I have yet to find one that has any at all), Uncommons have one gene/mutation (either visible or carried), Rares have two (visible, carried, or combination), and I can only assume the value of that will increase with the level of rarity. (Epic = 3, Legendary = 4, Mythical =5, but this is just speculation.)

Lovely! Where did you find her, in an event or while exploring?
