This has probably already gone up as a question. But could someone please tell me why I cannot enter the barracks in Ethernia it would rather help me getting nice gear.

Ethernia Barracks do not exist- there are no Missions available in Ethernia, though it does have Tasks (which function entirely differently from Missions)

Yes. They don't exist. That's why you can't enter them.

The Barracks are on the map, but they're on the map the same way that yellow traps are in the trap list in a battle. Theoretically they exist, but in practice they don't

More like a nonexistent entity there for dcor

Yellow traps are unobtainable in-game.

Both are prob not gonna get realeased as places/items anytime soon.

(And that, my friend, is the lore de Sylestia!)
