Soooooo

.....

Basically I've just been slapping high level gear on my pets a trying to max out their health xD I literally just judge armor on what one has more health points.

So here is my team, I'd really appreciate some critique, and if you could tell me how good they are, what I could do to make them better and how bad they are right now. Because I know I messed something up.

Nutella Swan is my 1st, Midnight Lotus is 2nd and Carol is 3rd in the party.

{And i'm serious, on a scale of 1-10 how uhhh compatible/decent are they? I'd really like to know how my technique has been working xD}

Hmmm... roast =/= critique. Roasting is essentially when you insult someone for comedy. I don't think that's what you're looking for. But since you asked....

Your team's base stats are so low that an ant couldn't pass underneath.

Yea, I'm not good at that.

So when picking armor for your pets, the first thing you want to look at is what attack type they are. Magic or physical damage. This is determined by the element you chose for them. Light/Dark/Fire are all magic types while Air/Water/Earth are all physical types. A lot of your gear is aimed at the wrong attack type which is going to severely decrease the damage that they can do.

The second thing to look at is your pet's role in the party. The most common party format is tank/healer/dps. There are others but I recommend this one while you're still figuring out the mechanics. A tank's role is to take all the damage for the party so they need high health and agility. Tanks are normally earth or dark and sometimes water. Healer's job is to heal the party. Most of the time they are light pets and need high intelligence and dexterity. Water is also sometimes used but I recommend not going with this option until later. DPS is in charge of doing the damage for the team. They are typically fire or air. Both need high dexterity but fire needs high intelligence while air needs high strength. A pet's armor needs to match what their role in the party is. Your armor doesn't do that. In fact you don't really seem to have much of a party at all. Your pets all have high health but that's about it.

The same rule for armor also applies to their proficiencies, by the way.

Hmm, I don't know about roasting, but here are some thoughts...

The center pet is the only one I put any health in, and I only put one point in it... For the rest I don't put any health at all...

But especially for the center pet, I use a pet with *a lot* of health. These are known as max stats, and are generally very expensive! But a lot of people have been nice to me in Sylestia, and I'd like to pass that kindness forward.

Pick one pet from my sales tab (and ping to let me know), and I'll reset its price to you for free... The aeridinis are purebred themed if the means something to you (I noticed your whole team is themed), while the rest are just random designs I've bred or dyed.

This would be best as your central (tank) pet, as it already has a lot of health. It won't need more than one proficency point in health. (The rest of the proficiency points I would split between int/str and agility).

The central pet should be either shadow, earth, or water. Based on my experiences, I recommend water.

The second pet should be light.

The third pet should be fire or air. Both are good. Fire is better against three opponents, while air has the strongest single attack againt a single opponent. They are even against two.

Both the side pets should have all proficiency points in int/str...as you get more proficiency points in the future, they should be all put in dexterity.

Both your light and fire pets should have all "pyromancer" equipment (search it in the broker)
If you pick an air pet instead, all its equipment should be "storm caller".

The central pet should have all "tidal lord" equipment if you choose water.

I...hope this helps! It is a setup for a balanced team. It means switching proficiencies, getting a bunch of new gear on the broker (shouldn't cost too much), and picking up a new central pet.

There are other setups, but they are more advanced, and are better in some situations but worse in others. I recommend a balanced team.

Although the current stats are, decent, the base stats are terrible. I would say a minimum of at least 25 for base stats.

People have already pointed a lot out, but anyway

Pre-Lost Grove, lower stats are fine- though once you get to LG, having pets with higher stats makes things a lot easier.

I haven't worked out how I work with a Shadow Tank yet, but some notes:

> Yours has some equips that aren't oriented towards Int/Agi, so you'll want to swap those out so they're all Int/Agi

> Shadow heals itself based on the damage it does, so you want to have at least some points into Int, probably.

Water Defence/buffer/healer?:

> I've never used a water buffer, but I'd assume they work very similarly to water Tanks, but with less need for HP since they're not the one in the main firing line (honestly, my own lv70 water tank doesn't even have any points in HP and he does just fine)

> Water, like shadow, has a use for the attack stat- Ice barrier absorbs and heals an amount based off of the pet's physical damage stat.

> since it's meant to be defending the team, it might want some Agi as you go so it can set up the ice barriers before the enemies move

> Carol's equips are 100% wrong, since they're all for an Int element- Water is a Physical element, so those are actually hindering her (her phys damage stat is a measly 84 right now)

Fire attacker:

> again, wrong equips, though not as bad as Carol, since the relic is an int-type relic. Fire pets want Evoker (Int/Dex) equips

> attackers generally have no need for HP profs- at lv 60, you'd probably want either 3Int or 2Int/1Dex on a fire pet.

I agree the stats are low. But that legendary bulbori is gorgeous! Sometimes you just have to stick with the pets you love. ^^

In the end, ranks (gained from attacking in the Lost Grove area) are more important than stats. I have seen some very successful rank 4 pets with really low base stats! However, low stat pets are very difficult to use in the lost grove at first (until their attacks rank up).

In the advice above, I compromised by changing just the central pet and keeping the rest. But if you aren't attached to them, yes change out your team for higher stats. Just pick pets you really like, as it doesn't make sense to change them once they rank up. The more you stick with the same team (in the Lost Grove), the better they become!

Tbh, for me, the more I use the pets, the more I grow attached to them. So if I were to use a pet(as long as its not ugly) for my team, itll soon grow on me
