After reading around the site, I often see that the healing of the whole party by gold is a scam and money sink. What can I do otherwise besides waiting 30 mins or buying a lot of potions? I'm trying to save up to expand my stables as I'm attempting to catch more themed pets in Umbra's Veil.

Do missions. The bonus pouches give a lot of potions and elixers, plus theres the gold and equip that comes form it. Esepcially higher level missions-you should see my invent, it's crazy if you don't sell anything

Thank you very much. I have also read where the missions are tied to your pet level or player level. Or something like that. I have been sending Pets that have a high skill that is being asked for like strength, but it will sometimes fail on a level 10 mission with a Level 27 pet.

Level 60 pets off the AS are a good choice, they're garenteed to get full success if you stuff all their points into one area, say, 3 points in health. As long as they have over 500 in strenght/intelligence/dexterioty/agility, they'll get a sucesful mission. Amror helps too

Ok, I was wondering how that worked. Good to know. I'll keep doing lower missions until I can fix my problem. But so far the site has been fun. I love the idea of traits and genetics being passed down.

Higher tiers of mission unlock as you gain more reputation with the town in question (which you can get... by doing missions), and you can unlock up to six mission slots via the town plazas.

missions have four tiers of outcome:
failure - no reward, generally only happens if you send completely the wrong pet on the mission
success (poor) - half the base reward, no mission satchel reward
success (satisfactory) - base rewards, one mission satchel
success (exceptional) - double the base reward, two mission satchels

Mission satchels can contain gold, equipment, healing items, and on very rare occasions, pet essences (regular or enhanced)
Basically, make sure the pets are well proffed and equipped and the payout is glorious
