I love this game. I really do. But I'm finding the gold, or lack thereof, to be a tad frustrating. What I've got coming in isn't nearly enough to keep up with what I've got going out. Right now, I'm so low on gold that I can't buy anymore potions for battles, and frankly, they're vital. I can't get through the major battles, or battles with stronger enemies, without them. Right when I think my pets have leveled enough to hold their own and I'm thinking...hoping!...that I won't need all those potions, I'm in some new area where it seems my pets are once again lacking because the enemies are stronger still, and I end up using potion after potion anyway. I have been going into lesser areas and doing battles just to level in the hopes of being able to get strong enough to defeat monsters and enemies without potions, but it never seems to work that way. lol Is there any plan at all to increase the gold we get through various means in the game? If I can't buy potions, I can't do battles, and if I can't do battles I'm dead in the water. I'm almost at that point right now. Right now I'm spending almost everything I get on potions just to do the battles, and have none at all left to buy new pets from other users. This is turning in to a frustrating figure 8 for me. I would gladly pay USD for gold at this point. Is it just me or do other people find the gold situation an issue? I can't seem to save a dime.

@Shadow,

Are you putting your pets that you aren't battling with onto missions? Missions are a great way to earn passive gold for the pets that you aren't currently using. I have some pets that are dedicated mission pets...so I put all their stats into health/dex/int/agi/str...so when they go on missions they'll perform exceptionally. Make sure to give them gear as well to boost their stats.

Another way that I make gold is to go and just grind out areas and sell all the 'junk' equipment that I get. Then there are other ways like selling pets, I know that there are several users who breed tons of babies and sell them.

I'm having a similar problem with the lack of gold. I sell the junk items and I have my one other pet doing missions continuously, but I'm still forking out a ton of gold in potions. More often than not, I'm flat broke because I've bought 5 or 6 potions that merely end up being used over the course of 3 or 4 battles. Upon getting to the Umbra Forest area and allowed to up my party by one, I was shocked to find that doing so would cost 25,000 gold! I've never gotten above 4-5,000 gold and it's always used up for potions. The severe lack of gold is quite the problem for me. :/

Ada, I'm glad I'm not alone! XD

Thanks for the response Faiona..yes, I do the missions, I'm up to 3, and I also sell 'junk' that I find. It just doesn't ever seem to be enough. The potions for battles are killing me. Every time I turn around I need more. I will sell babies, or at least try to, eventually. What concerns me is that people won't have the funds for them, even if I price very reasonably. lol Well, I'll keep on truckin' and hope for the best.

I'd like to add that Party Pets CAN be send in Missions,
like when you're going away for a while or going to sleep.
Having your Party Pets do a couple of Missions will
enhance the EXP gain a bit if you find it harder to train it
at the point you are~ <3
Like Fai said, pets that are Purely into ONE stat can help
lots in Mission, the more you advance, the more you'll be
able to get Missions to do, that will be harder to complete,
well need higher stats than a similar stat mission under
that level~ P=
You'll obviously will gain way more Golds on a Very Hard
Mission than lower Mission~ P=

Also :
If you think you have nice looking pets that could be sold
to other or just breeding such nice looking pets for great
looking babies can help too!~ :3

In some case, some "Breeder" with too much babies will
"sell" certain if not LOTS of babies at 1g, which you can
always buy and try to re-sell, even if not high, could help,
just try to look for pets that could be made interesting and
that aren't just PURE Rid-Off~ ;3

There's a couple of way to make money around, of course,
at first it is pretty hard and you doesn't find Golds much,
but with time, you start to win lots of money~ :3
If you find the Healer too asking too much, well avoid her
and just wait your Pets slowly recover Health while doing
other things than Battling~ :3
Like sending Missions, browsing on the Forums or just

Also a trick I use with my pets with the Gear thing
along with Missions~ XP

I only use Gears when I start sending them in the first
lower Missions, so they do it right more often, then I
just take these Equips off them and use them on others,
so they do these Missions too, until they get a decent
level and "Standard" stats to do Higher by themselves a
bit~ :3
Eventually you get at least 2 of each Stats, like two pets
based on Health, 2 in Strengh and so on, can enhance
your chances of always being able to send Pets in
Missions~ :3
(I don't think I have Perfect Pure-in-one for all Stats yet
since I've been slacking a bit since I unlocked Umbra's
Missions, giving me more choice~ XP
But this can always serve~ :3)

Then all "Extra" can easily be sold when you feel you're
not going to use it much~ :3
I also suggest saving for buying "Special" Equips from
the Towns, they're normally give lots in boost and can
help out lots more than normal Equip, except in certain
case~ :3
It takes sometime lots of time beating up the ennemies
of the last place or lots of Missions to have Golds, but if
you aren't spending too much, you should do it right~ <3

Shee, thanks for the tip! I think I'll take your advice and put my party pets onto harder missions right before I go to bed. That sounds like a plan. Not sure why I didn't think to do that myself. XD And yes, I have quite a few really nice(at least, I think so! lol) breeding pairs that I'm waiting to grow up, and I have started a mailing list for their offspring, so hopefully that will net me some funds, and that will allow me to expand and buy pets from other breeders, too. I guess I'm just dealing with a little newbie frustration at the moment, but like you said, in time hopefully the ball will start rolling and getting gold, one way or the other, will become, if not easy, than at least easier.

No prob, ya know my Sligger(Main Party Pet) was a
Strengh Mission pet until I decided he was awesome
enough to be used in Battle, then it's like my Life just
became easier~ XD
He had what... 400-ish when I added him to my Team,
when my best up to that was around 170~230ish! XD
Then I realized how much Party Pets can be used often
in Missions, or at least in the hardest they can do!~ <3
Giving them opportunity to grow a lot more than just
Battles that would give him 1exp~ XD
(Which happen often with his current lvl~ XP)

There should be a decent amount of ways to make gold in Sylestia. But keep in mind, you can't become rich overnight.

In any game, it usually takes a lot of investments and some progress to be able to start making a decent amount of money per day.

Missions are definitely the best gold source atm. Once you get pets able to do the harder missions (Hard and Very Hard) and have them perform exceptionally, you'll earn thousands of gold every hour or so if you have them on continuous missions.

In addition, Daily Quests from Umbra Forest (if you've gotten that far) are also a great way to make a few thousand gold everyday. Really need extra gold? Sell the Badges you earn. They're selling for about 4-5k each badge atm.

Then there are the dungeons. Dungeons are a great source of gold everyday (assuming you've already cleared it and have it on farm). Defeating it for the first few times probably won't be profitable, but it's part of that investment. You'll find some good drops, level your pets up, and thus make it easier to farm the dungeon without having to use very many consumables, if any at all.

You could also just simply grind in whatever the last zone you completed was. If you completed the zone's story, the encounters should be fairly trivial for you and should not require any elixirs at all. If your pets are low on health, just use the town healer. It's very cheap, but has a 30 minute cooldown. If the cooldown isn't up, use potions outside of a battle. Potions are much cheaper than Elixirs or Draughts. You could also munch on some Fairy Mushrooms if you don't mind clicking 'Use Item' a lot

You shouldn't have to use hardly any elixirs during normal battles. If you are consistently having to do this, re-spec a pet that can tank and put them in the first party slot. Give them lots of Health and Agility so they can soak up damage. I personally play with an Earth pet, Air pet, and Light pet. With that combination, I rarely ever have to use consumables with the exception of beating the the final boss of the second dungeon.

Then there's also Jinxie's Jambree, our mini-game. Its odds are built to be in your favor. Play long enough and you'll earn both gold and valuable items.

You can also sell your pets for breeding or just flat out sell them. Pretty pets with a gene/mutation or two can easily fetch 5k. Really good ones can fetch upwards of 50k. I caught a Rare once, used a Mutator on it, and had someone offer me 90k for it.

Lastly, if the above is still too slow for you, you can always buy Diamonds and sell them on the Currency Exchange for Gold. Or, you can buy people's Gold for Diamonds. Players have purchased almost 1 million gold via diamonds in just the past 7 days.

I hope this helps you guys and anyone else with earning more gold. And let me know if you have any other questions.

@Shadow
@Ada

If you'd like, I have a few 46+ Sylestis in my stable I would be willing to give up to help you guys. They're all un-named, so you would get to name them whatever you want, and none of their points have been used for anything. They would help make great mission pets for you guys. Drop me a PM if you are interested. :3

(They will mostly all likely be carriers of something as well as most were caught during raids, and they've all been genetically tested as well.)
