Would it be possible to get some pointers for pvp Snow War? Please and thank you.

I'm just having the worst time with Snow Wars. It's the first year I am playing it and I get that it's chess. But it's odd chess, I am actually pretty decent at chess. Basically, I'm 0-5 and I just sorta flounder around till I can forfeit so I get a point towards the fabled cata. Don't get me wrong I am Trying, I've tried a variety of combinations and strategy. I give an honest effort to winning...it's...just not making any ground and is rather miserable. I'd like to get one of the Nephini from it but it's just not fun for me to keep playing. I'm feeling rather down. I thought maybe there is a trick getting better?! Maybe I am just missing something? All help is apricated thank you in advance and have a wonderful Winterfest!! <3

ai is easier imo, battles are much faster and pretty easy for t1-3. but for pvp i dont think i can help you w/ that lol. im first on ai leaderboard rn but i lost all but one pvp battle

Ahh okay so PvP is just Hard less you know the game. I am doing ok in Ai, it brings me some joy. I guess I'll just try and use that to teach me the game a bit better the try PvP some more. Thank you for getting back me!
