When I first joined Sylestia, I thought I would try to do breeding projects. I thought it would be nice to try something different because on other sites I dont' tend to. However, I soon found I don't have the focus or patience to do so.

Instead, I realized there were two things I really liked doing. The first was using regennable pets. However, those are harder to come by and more expensive, so I can't buy them up to regen later, like I want to.

The second is taking cheap 3+ visible pets and dying them to be pretty. However, I have run into a couple of problems.

The first is that I sometimes get a design, and need opinions on it. The second is that I can't keep easy records of what the pets looked like BEFORE I dye them.

I plan to use this thread as a way to solve both those problems.

Any other players that would like to do the same may reserve posts and post their before, what they want and after pictures of the pets they want to dye. These do not have to be pets you bought, or cheap pets. Just pets you plan to dye (or regen).

If a pet name has a * (asterisk) by it, it means I am open to selling the completed dyed pet. However, since none of these pets have been dyed, I may change their proposed dye job and keep the pet if I like it enough. However, if you let me know that you like a particular dye job and would like the pet after words, I will sell the pet with the proposed dye job still. (in other words, tell me before I do the dye job in general, as it can change without warning until that point)

If the pet has a ! (exclamation mark) by it, it means I have not clue why I bought it, and it has a trait I cannot stand, so I will definitely be selling.

Conclusion: Two colors out of the ones I dyed need to be redyed, but not bad. A couple of the changes were actually better. I always have trouble making a good gold color (silver is just as bad, basically any metallic flat color), so the darker yellow was actually a better gold than I had.

Conclusion: Overall, the blacks went a bit lighter, but I still think nice. But, G3 is going to have to be redyed but need to think of whether I want to use a greater to make sure it blends in or risk another lesser. I will also need to decide whether I want to stick with the original black or choose one of the greys that came up. Redid G3 and still a bit too light, but I can live with it, not going to keep tossing dyes at a pet that doesn't want to cooperate

Conclusion: I think that C1 is still a bit too light. Instead of a nice crisp delineation between Kaiju and the base color, it is blurred, but at this point I don't think it is a big enough difference to really warrant the use of another dye. I may change my mind later if I revisit what she is supposed to look like at a later date.
