So I'm totally confused here. I really am interested in doing the ice sculpting, but every time I think I figured out what I need to do, I look again and I'm wrong.

I have my block of ice. I have a Gentle Warmth, a block of Ice, and somehow I have a Greater Ice. I figure I need a melted Frost Essence, but I have no idea how to get that because to buy those requires Frost essence, and I have no idea how to get that or how to melt them once I do get them.

Also, am I required to get a frosty coating, or any of the other items, or are those only nice additives? The description and directions weren't very clear over all to me.... :( Please help, I really would like to figure this out, especially with the gold I spent on the ice block before I realized how confusing it all is.......

you dont nead melted frost essence unless you want to buy somthing from the exchange. All you nead to do is to buy it from the festival shop, loot it from exploring, fighting bosses and winter wonderland or get one from one of the tasks.

the aditives can also be obtain the same way but are not neaded to make your pets, they do help getting somthing you may like more tho. ^-^

Okay, first, you need a frost essence. You can get them in four ways:
. Buying them from the festival shop for 400 tokens each
. Buying them with diamonds (Which, if you dont have any yet, need to be bought with real money.) from the diamond shop
. By beating named enemies, called Bosses, in the festival zone
. You can randomly find them in things like Wrapped Presents, which youll come across while exploring the aforementioned zone.

The chances of finding them via the last two methods are much rarer, just FYI. Anyway, continuing. Once you have a frost essence, all you need to do is click on your ice block, after which youll get a drop down menu listing all the available frost essences. Just click on the name of the one(s) you have, and it (they) will be added to your ice block(s).

Now the materials.
Ice Water Vials allow you to add visible traits to your sculptures.
. Lesser Ice Water- The pet you created will have one visible trait (Unless its a Majestic one. In this case, it will have two carried Traits, that is, they will only show up in any offspring you end up with if you breed the pet you created.)

. Greater Ice Water- The pet you created will have two visible traits (Majestics will end up with one visible trait.).
. Exceptional Ice Water- The pet you created will have three visible traits (Majestics will have two visible traits.).

Agents fix your sculpture when its condition changes.
. Gentle Warmth- Use this when the condition of your sculpture is Frosted.
. Block of Ice- Use this when the condition of your sculpture is Cracked.
. Super Chilled Ice- Use this when the condition of your sculpture is Melting.

Everything else, with the exception of the Expedient Sculpting Agent, just gives you more detailed ways to customize/design your pet (The coatings make the pet a specific gender, the Frosty Fairy Dust boosts its stats, the Frosty Jewels allow you to pick which slot(s) to add traits to, and the Frosty Glitter allows you to add a hidden trait to any visible trait/traits youve chosen.), so none of those other additives are absolutely necessary to have.

That makes so much more sense. Thank you so much. I was trying to figure out how to get the essences, and that seemed to be the key I was missing. Thank you guys for explaining and for your help. :)
