How do I add another stall? I have two. I know where to buy them but I am unable to buy more right now (the buying icon is black), and I really want more pets lol. Do I wait for a certain milestone in this game?

I think you're talking about adding a new stable tab, right? My brain likes to skip over stuff, so I'm sorry if I messed up.

I really don't know about the milestone thing, it was a very long time before I purchased the second tab. It costs $20000 gold, maybe you don't have enough and that's why the button is black? Best way to farm for gold early on is to go to the Trollsblight Caverns, since you're level 20 you won't even be forced to battle pets if you skip battle (if there's not enough of a level gap between the enemy pet and yours, sometimes the skip battle feature doesn't work and forces you to fight anyway)

EDIT: I think you have to have 10,000 AP or something to unlock the stablehands, maybe that's the point you have to get to to be able to purchase a new tab?

(If so, I'm pretty sure you can spend the AP in the wardrobe if you want and it won't take away from that milestone)

Maybe I'm using the wrong terms? In the newbie tutorial it shows you how to buy a second stall in one stable so you can have two pets. I'm not looking to buy a whole other stable. In the tutorial it sent me to Esior's Haven and then to the trainer at the Plaza where there is an expand party max button. But I can't buy another yet and I'm wondering why. Does it also have to do with just not having enough money?

So... are you referring to stable space or party space?

If you're referring to getting another pet in your party, I believe the third party slot is available from the next town, the Sanctuary of Saerielle. I don't think you can buy it from Esior's Haven.

If you're referring to extra space in your stables, you currently have one tab with 23 free spaces. So you could easily house up to 23 more pets. If you do want to buy more tabs, that option is on the stable page itself. Next to where it says Tab 1 you should see an option to "Purchase Tab".

Ah, I'm pretty sure you're talking about the party slots! You only get three of those, those are for the pets you bring into battle only. The next slot opens in the next area, Umbra Forest (that dark region to the north of where you are now), and costs 20-25k gold. As for the stable, you've got almost an entire tab free, you should be able to keep 23 more pets before you need more room :)

I looked at your pets you have in your party right now (beautiful Vulnixes, by the way!), looks like you have a Shadow and a Wind. I'd recommend the next battle pet to be a Light, they're healers and can restore some health to your party in battle! I had a Shadow/Wind/Light team for a very long time, I only recently switched the Wind out for a Fire when I got a new team.

(Different elements have different powers and abilities. For example, Wind and Fire both serve the same purpose in battle (they're attackers. Shadow/Earth is a tank, Light is a Healer and I have no idea what water is, I guess it's a healer too), but Fire has the ability to sometimes deal damage to a few enemies at once. Though, I'd probably recommend Wind to start, but that's just me. I think there's guides on element attunement and party position, you should check those out :) .)

Oh okay this all makes a lot more sense. I think I confused myself while doing the tut. I thought expanding the party meant the only way I could get more pets into the stalls.
