Can someone till me why his genetic bar isnt full as an adult, and what would be different, if anything?

That's his food bar, it is lowered once a day until it reach 0 and then your pet will faint. To prevent having to feed them manualy just hire a stablhand, you will save gold that way as well. ^-^
