Chapter 1
Part 1: Silverpaw
Silverpaw bounded out of his den. One of the warriors looked at him and said "Look whos in a good mood today!" "Yep" Silverpaw yelped coming to a stop at the fresh kill pile. His mentor Larkpool beamed at him. "Why the rush?" he mewed chuckling. Silverpaw gazed up at him. "Can we please do our battle training with Brighttail and Willowpaw?" He mewed excitedly. "So thats why you were so skippish" Larkpool said. "I will see what I can do." "Thank you Thank you so much" Silverpaw panted excitedly.
Silverpaw watched excitedly as Larkpool trotted over to where Willowpaw and Brighttail were sitting. He mewed something to them. Silverpaw was Willowpaws eyes light up. Brighttail chuckled, looked at her apprentice and then nodded. Willowpaw trotted over. "Hi Silverpaw." She mewed shyly. Silverpaw greeted her back. "I am so glad you are coming with us!" He mewed happily. She came closer to him. As she got closer he saw tears rolling down her cheek.
"What is wrong?" He asked. She gazed at him. "Last night I had this really bad dream" Willowpaw whispered. Tears appeared in her eyes. "I had a dream that a fox had attacked the apprentice den. Everyone else in the den was killed except for you and me. The warriors were there and we were winning. One of the foxes threw her self at me and you came in front of me and took the hit instead.And then you were dead." She finished sobbing. Just then Larkpool and Brighttail came over. When they saw Willowpaw sobbing they both gave each other a knowing look. Larkpool gazed concernedly at Willowpaw. Larkpool then turned and consulted with Brighttail. Both of them sounded worried. After some time, Larkpool turned back to them. "Maybe you two should take the day off." "Thank you" Silverpaw mouthed at Larkpool. Larkpool smiled warmly. Silverpaw entwined his tail with Willowpaws and murmered ,"it is all right Willowpaw." She looked at him still sobbing.
He lead Willowpaw to the waterfall. "I never knew this was here!" Willowpaw mewed monotoneously. "It was my secret place." Silverpaw said. "Now its our secret place." Willowpaw blushed. He took Willowpaws paw and they sat there looking at the beautiful sight. Willowpaw layed her head on his shoulder. Silverpaw sighed. He would do anything for Willowpaw.

Chapter 1
Part 2: Larkpool
Larkpool stared as Silverpaw entwined his tail in Willowpaws and walked off with her. "They are good for each other" Brighttail murmured. She nuzzled Larkpool. "Yeah you are right" He nuzzled her back. "I don't understand what had upset Willowpaw that much. She is a resilient cat." Brighttail said deep in thought. "Should I ask Silverpaw?" Larkpool asked. "No do not ask him." Brighttail said. Brighttail gazed at Larkpool looking serious. "I am going to tell you something that you cannot tell anyone till I say you can." "Anything" Larkpool promised. "I will not tell a soul." Brighttail smiled. Then it turned into a blush. "I am expecting kits." She whispered.
He stared at her in disbelief. Then his expression changed to excitement. "Wel- Well that is great news! Why do you not want me to tell anyone?" He asked. Brighttail looked at her paws. "I do not want to be treated like a weak cat. I am still moons away from delivering" she chuckled. "This is amazing" he whispered. As all the cats started going back to their dens, Brighttail said "you want to see the stars from our place? Like this first day we met?" She nipped him affectionately. "I would love to." Larkpool said. He followed her as she made her way to their spot. "I love this waterfall." Brighttail sighed. Tails intertwined, they sat there for a long time looking at the stars. After a bit Brighttail stood up. "Lets go back to camp" she mewed. Larkpool groggily followed her to their nest. It was a cold night but he didn't feel it cause Brighttail was pressed up against him. "I could get used to this" he murmured. Brighttail chuckled.
"I wonder how Willowpaw is doing now." murmered quietly. "She was so sad this morning." "Don't worry" he said. "Silverpaw will take care of her." Brighttail whispered slyly "He is so mature and kind. Just like his mentor." "Something must have really scared her for her to get that emotional" said Larkpool. "Should I go check on them?" Larkpool asked. "Sure" Brighttail said. "I will come too." They made their way to the apprentice den and Larkpool peeked inside; their nests were empty. "Oh no! They are not there!" he exclaimed in a urgent whisper. "We have to find them before the clan wakes up. This could affect their warriors ceremony" Brighttail said urgently. "What are we waiting for? Lets go!"

Chapter 2
Part 1: Silverpaw
Silverpaw stared at the waterfall. His shoulder was getting heavy. Willowpaw had dozed off on it just a bit ago. He was so tired, but there was no way he could sleep in this position. He heard footsteps padding towards him. They were faint but they were getting closer for sure. He shook Willowpaw awake. "Something is coming." He whispered to her. Her eyes opened in alarm. "Quick! hurry. Roll in the leaves and hide in this bush." He mewed urgently gesturing to a nearby bush.
They both rolled around in the leaves to disguise their scent and ran and hid in the bushes. Willowpaw shivered and leaned into him. "It's all right" he murmered gently. Just then two cats shrouded by the darkness of the light entered the clearing. "Where could they be?" Silverpaw heard a familiar mew. Willowpaw gasped. "It is our mentors!" She whispered.
Their mentors paced around in the clearing. "They were here." He heard Larkpool announce. "We have to get them back by tomorrow. Its their warriors ceremony!" Brighttail fretted. He held his breath until their mentors disappeared. "This is all my fault. Now we are going to be in trouble." He mewed solemnly. Willowpaw shook her head. "It isn't your fault. It's our fault. Silverpaw gave a bitter chuckle.
Suddenly Willowpaw sprinted out of the bushes. "Are you mouse-brained?" Silverpaw asked sprinting after her, "They are still close!" Willowpaw changed course and ran to where they last saw their mentors. Then she headed off in the direction they went. "We're here!" Willowpaw yelped. Silverpaw still chasing after her sighed. He then heard footsteps coming close. "Silverpaw! Willowpaw! Is that you?" Brighttail cried. Yes! Willow paw helped. Well there is no turning back now. Silverpaw thought. As their mentors came into sight, he could see his mentor, Larkpool's enraged face. "Are you mouse brained Silverpaw? Leaving camp at this time of night? You warriors ceremony is tommorow." Silverpaw looked at his paws. "Ita my fault. Please don't punish Willowpaw." he begged. "We are not punishing anyone here" Brighttail said sternly. "This cannot happen again. Understood?" He and Willowpaw nodded. "Well let's get back to camp." Larkpool mewed.

Chapter 2
Part 2: Willowpaw
Willowpaw fidgeted around in her nest. She didn't want to sleep because whenever she closed her eyes, all she could see was Silverpaw being killed by the fox. She shivered. Her fidgeting must have woken up Silverpaw who was in the nest next to her. "Are you okay?" Silverpaw asked genuinely concerned. I looked blearily at him. "I can't sleep!" she whined.
Silverpaw got up. "Scoot over." He whispered softly. She complied. He nestled into her nest and let her lay against him. "Feeling better?" He asked. Willowpaw nodded gratefully. Willowpaw closed her eyes gently praying she wouldn't get that nightmare again. The next morning, Willowpaw opened her eyes. She almost yelped. She was staring right into Silverpaw's big eyes. "Excited for our Warrior's ceremony?" He asked. Willowpaw nodded then shook her head. "I'm nervous." She admitted.
They both then heard the booming voice of their clan leader, Dovestar. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey please gather?" Willowpaw shivered. Silverpaw placed his paw on hers. Its going to be all right. "Silverpaw! Willowpaw! Please come up" Dovestar mewed. Dovestar turned to Larkpool. Does Silverpaw have the qualitys needed of a warrior?" Larkpool nodded. "Then with the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name; Silverfoot!" The whole clan cheered. "Silverfoot! Silverfoot!"
Dovestar then turned to Brighttail. "Does Willowpaw display the traits of a warrior?" Brighttail also nodded. Then by using the powers of Starclan I hereby name you Willowbreeze. The whole clan chanted once again. "Willowbreeze! Willowbreeze!" Silverfoot rested his tail on hers. "We finally did it. We are finally warriors!" He said. "I wish my parents were here to see this." Mewed Willowbreeze.
Silverfoot rested his tail on hers. "They are watching us. They are watching from Starclan." Willowbreeze smiled meekly.
