I want to create a Bulbori, but it keeps telling me I need a Bulbori essence.

Regular and enhanced can be got through tons of ways throughout the site, such as from battling monsters, opening satchels, playing games, nurturing, etc etc. Most things that reward prizes have a chance of rewarding a regular or enhanced essence. All 3 types can also be bought from the diamond shop, and mystical essences are exclusive to the diamond shop. Also, the difference between the 3 types of essences has to do with how many gene points you can use with them and how strong the color swing is (color swing is where a pets color will shift somewhat from what you actually select it to be, so like a white pet may turn grey or a red pet might turn pink). Regular: 2 gene points, Fairly accurate colors Enhanced: 4 gene points, Mostly accurate colors Mystical: 4 gene points, Extremely accurate colors

edit: for a specific essence (ie bulbori), you nurture bulbori eggs/hatchlings, or kill bulboris you find in the wild for a random chance of getting an essence (albeit it's low)

You can also buy them on the trade broker, from other users who are selling them.
