Also, is mission pass/fail based on the actual numerical value of the pet's stats, or the stats' percentage on their lineup? (Ex - a level 14 with 90 in the emphasized score and 20 in the rest would on average do better than a much higher level pet with 100 in that score and 200 in the rest.)
I'm guessing that higher stats = higher % chance of success, but I'm a little confused...

I'm pretty sure it is on the actual # and not the percentage
edit: no penalty, just no reward. Though the failure shows up on the pet's track record.
