It is 8am and I'm trash at staying committed to groups, let alone PRPs so haaa I don't know if I should do this
But I'm bored to tears and sad with groups dying out on me because now I'm just feeling like a bad rper idk.
Ideally I'm after one to three people in a setting. I get overwhelmed easily and want to limit the amount of rabid pings I get daily asking where I am. I do better at keeping up with at least two people in a PRP but I'm not going to be picky
So lemme lay out some stuff so I can stay sane and say I said it.
1. My post frequency is a little wonky depending on my strained attention span, energy levels, and stupid mental state as far as remembering to post. I also tend to post at some weird hours thanks to insomnia. I usually try to give a heads up if I'll be unresponsive for more than a few days.
I also do tend to forget pings though, might be good to remind me after a day or so if I've haven't said anything.
2. My length varies from anywhere from a sentence to a few paragraphs depending on setting and characters.
3. I like to worldbuild and plot and generally get bored and drop rps in settings where.. there really isn't any detail or setting to go off of. Please don't take this as a personal attack, I just can't stay committed to dry stories.
4. I don't write any characters under 17 for personal reasons, plus I can't write them well so. *shrug*
5. The only fandom rp I'll considering doing is Pokemon right now. I do not and will not consider RPing canon characters or other fandoms presently.
Things I'll rp
-Romance (keep it pg-13, site rules and the law, yo. Fade to blacks are fine but don't force anything on my characters without asking me. I'm most interested in romance mixed with other settings, not just as a standalone plotline)
LGBT+ and love triangles are fine
No weird/fetish stuff, please. If you know, you know.
-Fantasy
(High fantasy is generally my favorite. I like med fantasy most. Will also consider low and other fantasy hybrid settings.
Throw a topic at me tbh, I'll write pretty much anything)
-Sci-fi
(Same here. I'm mildly burnt out on sci-fi but I've been writing it as a constant for like 6 years)
-Military/Noir/Mystery stuff
-Adventure settings in general
-Demons/angels/monsters/aliens/anthros, etc
-Generally angsty, dark stuff, I'm not afraid of violence either
-Pretty much anything else not listed below
Things I don't want to rp:
-Wolf/cat/feral animal settings (generally they seem boring to me)
-Slice of life (in combination with other settings is fine. Not completely alone. I crave tension and drama)
-Anything against site rules
Things that trigger me.
I can't always really deal with well mentally. Please limit these topics if possible or discuss them with me prior in PM if you are deadset on them. Ty
Anything other than things on my do not want lists is fair game. Ask me.
I also uh don't really have too many settings in mind at the moment, so I'm open for any ideas.
I have my OCs listed here but it's woefully still a major work in progress and big disorganized mess as I move everything from my notes and I just make new characters or edit OCs most of the time anyways, lol. Just ask me, I still don't have everyone up here. @_@

How would it sound being in a fantasy mercenary company, set in the middle ages with magic running wild?

Yo you wanna write a war? xD
Also I noticed self harm and suicide were in your triggers, does this extend to general gore aswell? Like descriptions of injuries and deaths etc?
Erm-- I've basically done high fantasy's for most of my "rp career". I like the idea of trying something sci-fi, but havent found anyone else who can write it and deal with my messy writings since I've never tried anything super sci-fi and spacy.
On the other hand, if you don't want to do something-- dramatic-- like a war, I can do Pokemon too ;p
It would be new for me since I've never thought of any of my characters in that kind of setting, but I still like the idea, it would be interesting to explore.
If we want to get specific with world-building, all of my oc's are in my own personal world which is a med-fantasy (roughly)
I can dredge up all my scattered notes on that and see what you think?

I'm completely fine with gore. It's literally just confined to those specific things.
My triggers aren't so much as like things that bother me so much as things that can break my brain and sometimes my mental state because.. reasons.
I don't like the term, but yeah, it is what it is.
Usually I'll write anything and don't get too affected by writing too much. If I know a certain thing of those topics is going to be written, I'm fine, they're just things I don't really like sprung on me at random because I haven't had a chance to mentally prepare.
I love military settings esp with sci-fi (because all my OCs are now locked to a military fantasy sci-fi universe...) so I'm more than fine with a war. I don't think I'd write my specific universe since it's already been built up but it really gives me a chance to write some normal human characters for once and come back to an old OC I've been itching to do something with.

Hmm how would you feel about something like uh fantasy-magicky mixed with like-- pirates and stuff?
I'll explain what I mean.
You know Assassins Creed? Well like, that time period, with pirates and exploration and barmaidens-- wait lemme google what that was called-- I was thinking specifically Assassins Creed Black Flag, if you look up gameplays you'll probably get what I mean but-- Ah set in 1715.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/17th_century
By the end of the century, Europeans and Indians were aware of logarithms, electricity, the telescope and microscope, calculus, universal gravitation, Newton's Laws of Motion, air pressure and calculating machines due to the work of the first scientists of the Scientific Revolution, including Galileo Galilei, Johannes Kepler, Ren Descartes, Pierre Fermat, Blaise Pascal, Robert Boyle, Christiaan Huygens, Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, Robert Hooke, Isaac Newton, and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. It was also a period of development of culture in general (especially theater, music, visual arts and philosophy).
But we could mix this time period with magic? xD A hi-fantasy, like dragons and unicorns (although I imagine those would be rare bc/ probably hunted for horns and hoofs etc.) I love that sort of grungy time period where everything was...harsher.( Although you could mostly say I liked theorizing what kinds of mystical animals would be used for what, or killed and sold on the black market for what.) Various humanoid species like Harpys, Fauns/Satyrs, Elves, Centaurs, Mermaids could exist also and your characters could be etc. Ofc they could also just be...well human xD
If that all makes sense.
*hmmm how does war fit into that*
Well countries were still being discovered at that point, I think, so maybe some kind of new race that has less-than-stellar intentions? And also magic xD Magic is a must.
Ooo and maybe there are less naturally magic people, and more like-- people who can use magic weapons? It sounds cheesy but imagine they are powered by different kinds of elemental crystals. Or just magical crystals with tons of different powers in general. Can you imagine the black market for power crystals? *-*

I've tried a 17th century fantasy setting before just to have an extremely hard time writing for it tbh
I'm a bit hesitant on this one for the same reason

hmm okay, are there any ideas you'd like to explore? I can pitch in my two cents and we can figure something out :pc I mean I know you have that whole post up there xD But Sci-fi or Fantasy is very black and white.

I don't really have any ideas, but I'm open to pretty much anything.
It's just that particular time period I'm pretty weak at writing, lol
I'll let you know if I come up with anything

Hmmm you wanna try like, some kind of dystopian society? I've never written anything like it, but I can probably figure it out. Ooo or apocalyptic? I'm thinking less about war now and more about drama, but we could always fit a war into it maybe.
