Not really a 'I need help with this' question, just interested to see different people's ideas. I'm wondering about some lore behind different aspects of the game? Like,
- How did we originally meet Jinxie? Apparently at some point in Esior's Haven, but how?
- Saerielle (I believe) at some point tells us Jinxie is more important than we know, and to protect her above all? Why is that?
- I kind of want to learn more about Desius and the seals. They each trap a portion of his soul away in a different plane - is that the same plane Vorpar comes from?
- Also along the same lines. Was there some great war or something hundreds of years ago? Are all the soldiers in the Garden of the Magnates from it, or are they just elves and fairies who've died over the years?
- It seems to be the general opinion that Raith, Wruen, Malgorus, Vaeluna, Faerina, and Saphryn are the deities of Sylestia. More about them?
- I believe it was on Amarok's LG walkthrough that they discussed the theory that the portal actually brings us back in time and Ferrikki are currently extinct, that's why they're only in TLG?
- And what is the deal with all the Nightfall guys? What's their problem? It seems they've always been one of the main enemies throughout the whole storyline, from the very beginning with Dreadnaught to the ones in TLG.
I'm going to go read through all the NPC talks we've had and see if I can answer or get more questions from there.
So yeah, I don't know if Krin and Fai have any deeper lore they haven't shared, but if you have any other lore questions, or thoughts about these, feel free to add them on, or discuss them yourselves. I'm sure I'll think of more eventually.

Of course! I pinged Krin and Fai to see if they would answer, since they would be the ones to know, but no luck so far.

I just thought of some:
1: What happened to the big war between the fairies and Nightfall Bandits?
2: What happened to Jinxie? After the 2nd zone she's pretty much gone.
3: Where are the other relics from Astrl's Tranquility?

There's a ton of lore for Sylestia that hasn't really been written yet. There's a lot that's outlined for myself that will all unfold as time goes on, but isn't exactly what you'd call "canon" just yet.
When we do eventually relaunch Sylestia and move forward with the game, I plan on creating an entire feature just for the collection of lore. The idea would be that you'd discover and collect various books/tomes that would then be added to your collection and you can read them at any point. And they would obviously contain just various random lore about whatever the subject of the book/tome would be. So we could definitely use a feature like this to fill in a ton of lore gaps.
I also plan on having a way to view a nice recap of the storyline as you complete it. I know it's been a huuuuge common issue where players have long forgotten virtually everything that happened when they first played through the storyline. So this would serve to easily bridge that gap.
In regards to the Lost Grove, that is entirely separate and will not carry over at all once the game is relaunched. The Ferrikki, of course, will stay lol. But in terms of lore and story and all that, it will never be mentioned in any shape, way, or form once the game relaunches and it's closed. It was never meant to be be a part of the actual world. It's just a content detour for us to have tested a bunch of new ideas, features, and mechanics for down the road.
I will try and answer some of your questions though with what is already known/stated.
- How did we originally meet Jinxie? Apparently at some point in Esior's Haven, but how?
You met Jinxie in Esior's Haven by happenstance. The Tutorial has kinda shifted quite a bunch at this point so it's not the same as it originally was, but basically, you had a connection with Dr. Felix, the researcher who helped you to generate your Starter Pet, and through him you happened to meet Jinxie. No other information was really provided at that time.
- Saerielle (I believe) at some point tells us Jinxie is more important than we know, and to protect her above all? Why is that?
You know as much as you know, regarding that, at this point.
- I kind of want to learn more about Desius and the seals. They each trap a portion of his soul away in a different plane - is that the same plane Vorpar comes from?
There are many different planes, or dimensions, in the 'world'. You exist in the material/mortal plane. It is often used as basically the gateway to all of the other planes, which makes it very special and vital. Each of the 6 elements (Air, Earth, Fire, Water, Light, and Shadow) have their own designated plane. Each has its own characteristics and purposes. Beyond that, not much is really known to the player about them at this time.
- Also along the same lines. Was there some great war or something hundreds of years ago? Are all the soldiers in the Garden of the Magnates from it, or are they just elves and fairies who've died over the years?
Unfortunately, the continent has been known to have had many different wars and power struggles throughout the many previous eras. At this time, the Garden of the Magnates is home to the official cemetery of the current ruling kingdom. It is where many soldiers, nobles, and royalty have been buried for centuries for all sorts of reasons. Natural deaths, wars, etc. It's sort of like Arlington National Cemetery in the USA, to give an example.
- It seems to be the general opinion that Raith, Wruen, Malgorus, Vaeluna, Faerina, and Saphryn are the deities of Sylestia. More about them?
You will learn a lot more about them as time goes on. But yes, they are the 6 main 'gods' that the beings of Sylestia worship. There are others, but those are the 6 main ones most commonly known about.
- I believe it was on Amarok's LG walkthrough that they discussed the theory that the portal actually brings us back in time and Ferrikki are currently extinct, that's why they're only in TLG?
As stated above, the Lost Grove is 100% a detour from the world of Sylestia. It will not have any lasting lore connection to Sylestia once the site moves on and it closes.
- And what is the deal with all the Nightfall guys? What's their problem? It seems they've always been one of the main enemies throughout the whole storyline, from the very beginning with Dreadnaught to the ones in TLG.
At this time, the Nightfall Bandits are basically just the main criminal organization of the continent. They are a haven for miscreants and have their tendrils rooted all throughout the lands. This allows them to have access to many resources and many puppet strings. The lawful orders of the land have a never ending struggle against the Nightfall organization for power and control. What the Nightfall's motives are outside of basic banditry are not known at this time.

Thank you so much! I was so excited when I saw your post, Krin. Thanks for answering our questions! A lore collection like what you mentioned is going to be really cool in the future.
((Orca, Beau, you guys asked to be pinged if we figured everything out. Not sure if you got Krin's as well)

Though I'm rather disappointed that TLG isn't going to be an official part of the game and lore and stuff. Like I said, I'm rather fond of the time-travel theory.
