"Hello. You may be wondering who I am. The truth is, I'm a nobody. An outcast, at most. I got abandoned by my parents at the age of one. I... Oh. They're awake." You open your eyes to the 'outcast' "My name is Vaella. Call me Vae, though. You're an elf, too. What tribe are you in?"
You open and close your mouth.
"Oh. You're not in a tribe. You're like me. Ever since the war, there have been many elves that have been kicked out of their tribe. That includes me. My parents abandoned me because I was simply one more mouth to feed. They were poor." Tears clouded her eyes. "Enough about me." She says, choked up. "Do you know about the war? Or have you been an outcast from before the war?"
"Before... the war." You say. She hands you a long, thick scroll that looks oddly ancient.
The Elven War Begins...
Soliania, the leader of the Soul Tribe, began the war. It began with a Ny'vene egg. Soliania owned this egg, but the leader of the Sun Tribe, Virtheon, declared that he wanted the egg to protect his tribe, because Soliania already had a Ny'vene. Soliania disagreed and asked him to get out of her kingdom. The next day, Aethon, the leader of the Air Tribe, said that HE wanted the egg to protect his tribe. And that is where the war began. Aethon was the one who declared the war. Soliania sent her armies to kill Aethon. They succeeded, eliminating one leader. Aethon's brother, Halbor, took over and kicked out 75% of all the elves who lived there.
Meanwhile...
Soliania and Virtheon were fighting for the egg. In a minefield. No, they did not know they were in a minefield, but they were. Virtheon charged at her and Soliania did the same. Virtheon stepped on a mine and killed them both. Halbor took over both tribes and kicked out 75% of the people again.
When you finished reading, Vae asked you something. "Will you help me find the Secret Elves? They're the only one who knows a solution that is doable."
