Adding onto Xedite's reply, an OC (original character) is a character that you yourself created, as opposed to, say, Darth Vader and Jinxie Juniper. Pretty straightforward.
NSFW (not safe for work) includes explicit sexual content (anything beyond innuendo and "fade to black"), but depending on who you ask, it can also include graphic violence/gore, drug use (besides tobacco/alcohol), suggestive clothing/poses, and probably some other things I've forgotten. Generally overlaps with mature/18+ content.
