Sorry if the title didn't make much sense.

Anyway, I've been wanting to make a recolor of my Hidden Heart Heart's Desire Ferrikkies for a while. I wondered how the April Lyrid Vulnyx color scheme would look on them, and I got this beauty:



My question is, is it ok to redye them with the colors of a Theme? I don't want to waste a ton of money (or get in trouble) if this is against the rules or anything like that. I would of course state that it's the colors of an April Lyrid vul when making a sales thread for these.

From experience, I'd say as long as you credit the AL theme you *should* be fine ^-^;

There's nothing wrong with dying a finished product and selling the offspring (unless you're taking a design from someone else without permission),but with it being a dyed theme I would heavily suggest only selling them infertile, just so we don't end up with another situation like the Emperor's Dragon Zolnixi. Many people recoloured this theme after finishing them, then sold them fertile. The dyed offspring were bred with other dyed and non-dyed offspring, to the point that new players often don't even know what the theme is supposed to look like. Yes, this can be fixed with a single dye and a click of a button now, but it does become a bit confusing XP

Anyway, just my suggestion. What you actually do is obviously up to you ^.^

And it's probably going on a max stat, so there's no need to worry about it breeding with other HH rikkies since it will of course be infertile :)

Oh I'd love one! I think recolors of themes are nice. Do you have a thread were I could order one of those pretty babys?

Not yet! They're a work in progress. Me and Fanta are going to be working on max-statting them (they're pretty close to it now), so I'll keep you posted!

Edit: oh, and there's also a good chance for them to have Victorian Tail and/or Ribbon :)

G1 now seems to alternate between Chipmunk, Ocelot (most common), and Geometric Runes

I'd love to be notified if you plan on selling their offspring!
