Should I start philtering superstats before 6v to prevent losing the wild stats? Workin on super mistwardens. :3

I think generally it's "make the 6v THEN do the other stuff"
In the case of mistwarden, you'd get to 6v, philter to max stat, then breed gen1?2?s back in to the maxed lineage and hope you get lucky stat rolls

so 6v > max stat > reintroduce g1?2?s for wild stats > pick the ones that get the best stat rolls and cross them together until you get good rng on the vis rolls AND stat rolls out of them
?
something like that

(of course in such case it might be best to start the project with non-grove pets, since they start with higher base and no wild stats. That way when you introduce ones with wild stats it will take the wild stat from that parent and then subtract a few points, rather than taking the high wild stat from the wild-caught and the lower one from the bred-line and picking a random number between them and then subtracting a few points)

Thanks for the quick reply! I just bred 2 more - This one's looking hawt

I think I might philter those two bc I have so many and I can't pass this RNGesus blessing up! Their parents also were 5/6 carried, so let's pray they're good genes

get to 6v 200 mana max then breed to your legendary/pb of choice. If you use a 6c pb with higher stats it would be a better option. I plan on 6v super mistwardens too

Nice! I've got this girl I use a lot, but haven't had much luck with full trait slots. :/

Lovely girl, the first step to 6v is 6c but you need alot of luck to get 6v from a pair of 6c
