How do you beat Eleane the Duelist in the LG? Do you have to use max stats?

The strategy for Eleane is pretty much the same as how you beat nightfall captains. You need to knock out the vicars first and then kill Eleane. You need to block for 3 turns after she has full mana when the shield sign is under her name.


No you don't need max stats as I can kill her without max stats. I did take a look at your team though and it might be good if you can relocate the proficiency points on your light and air. Your air is currently 2 health 1 strength and 2 dex, it would work better if it was 3 strength and 2 dex. Your light has 2 health 1 intelligence and 2 agility, try switching it into 3 intelligence and 2 dexterity.


It takes time to train your skills but higher level skills makes killing Eleane much easier, if you can aquire some draughts or elixirs that you can use that might also help if your pets need healing.

Yeah, you definitely don't need max stats, but wild-caught pets are far more likely to struggle, since their base stats ARE very low.
(I agree with the proficiency point analysis, though. Healer and Attacker are typically 3 attack + 2 dexterity to maximize damage and healing)


Looking at your team, you have a shadow tank, though, so I can't really help with strategy there with any kind of experience.
Just remember that she's basically a souped up Captain with two extra healers

My usual strategy with her is to hit her until she's near full mana, then thorncoat or Ice Sphere (depending on if it's my main team with the earth tank or my secondary with the water tank) and then spend the next several turns hitting one of her vicars until I can hit her again, personally.


I suppose with a shadow tank you'd want to get her Taunted to the shadow when she's at like, 90? mana then spend the next few turns blocking with the shadow while the other two pets go for a vicar.
You could just focus on taking out a vicar/both vicars first (I'd personally say whittle one down but don't kill them so your team has something to do while Elaine is Vanishing), but, yes, I'd say taunt her to the shadow for the Vanish so the other two pets are free to attack

I usually use a water tank, but I saw on kattya using a shadow tank on her youtube video so I gave it a try :) What prof points should you set on a water tank? (right now I have 3 on health and 2 on agilty)

really it depends on the tank and the team along with the player- like this is my max stat water tank and this is my starter, who is also a water tank (who is usually on a team with a max stat light healer).
They have different prof setups because the one I use for my max water doesn't work as well on my starter because of his naturally lower stats making him a lot squishier
